Updated: 5 years later, this thing still works great. Adding another star.This is an inexpensive light, but so far worth every penny. It's really lightweight & small, but it feels cheap. It's working well. I hope it lasts. My biggest complaint is the light is glaring, & uncomfortable of the eyes. That's the nature of LED lights I guess. This is lighting up the walkway leading to my front door. When exiting the house and it comes on, it's almost painful on the eyes. I had to angle it down as far as it would go to make it easier on the eyes. There is no adjustment for aiming the light left & right, only a small up & down adjustment. Keep this in mind before mounting.

You nearly have to remove the bracket from the fixture (via a single hex-screw located on each side) to mount it to a surface. The mounting holes were ever-so-slightly larger than the screws I had laying around, so I might end up taking it back down and adding some washers to the screws, just to be on the safe side.While the hex screws securing the fixture to the mount appear to be high-quality, I unfortunately stripped one while re-attaching the fixture. It's absolutely my fault. I was in a rush and decided to use my power drill on those hex-cap screws. My advice: just thread it by hand, and tighten as needed using a Hex key/Allen wrench.The light is acceptably bright; I bought two of the 30W fixtures to light the fenced-in backyard when letting the dogs out at night. I've only installed one thus far and while I probably don't need to install the second, I plan on doing so primarily to keep things symmetrical.I would have preferred a Dusk-to-Dawn fixture, but this configuration isn't possible without opening and modifying the fixture (at least from what I've seen). Doing so would probably ruin the IP rating and render the fixture vulnerable to water ingress. It's probably for the best though, while the entire back of the unit acts as a heat-sink, I doubt it provides sufficient heat dissipation for all-night operation. The motion sensor works well, so perhaps it's a blessing in disguise!

I expected too much for stasun brand nd a good review on this however, unfortunately, it did not last as I expected. I am kind of skeptical to buy this at first but because its statsun brand and good review that is why I bought it. I guess I am wrong. I need to put 1 star on this. I may need to contact their customer service because there is a 2 year warranty for this light and hopefully they are able to replace it. Otherwise this a total waste of money :(

The light won't turn off. The light stays on all the time. I will say the light is plenty bright and great for what i needed in my dark backyard. But with the light staying on all night, its a light trespass to my neighbors.

For years we had to choose whether to leave all of the garage lights on [announcing we were not at home] or arrive home and stumble through the darkness until reaching the garage light switch. This light has perfectly solved all of those issues. It is positioned near the door from the house so it immediately lights up when entering the garage; and close enough to the car that it lights when we arrive home. We save on energy and light bulbs and have increased security! This has been one of the best improvements we have made to our home in years!!!

The light its self is great but the sensor you need to get really close to it for it to work

Very bright motion sensor light! Well made, easy to install.I have one motion detection camera pointing outside through my front door window. I have to turn off the night vision function (infrared LED) due to reflection, but it's too dark to detect/capture anything for the camera at night before.After installing this motion sensor light outside, The light motion sensor is triggered and lights up my front door, the inside camera can detect the motion and record video with high quality.If you're looking for home security or theft deterrent light working with your camera, this is your guy.

I like the light so far. Of course I have only had it for about a month or so now. It was easy to install and it's bright. I installed it on a house that I'm renting to someone. When the tenet put Christmas lights near it at night, it would not turn on. I'm assuming it wasn't dark enough with the Christmas lights near it. I think I can probably adjust the sensitivity to take care of that though. It's been a good light so far. I also purchased one for my father's pier. I'll be interested to see how it holds up being exposed to the somewhat salty air (only brackish water).
