So far, it has met all my expectations. The coffee has a good taste and is just hot enough. The Brew Later and the Select a Size features were a must. The warming plate keeps the coffee just at the right temperature. I would have liked the warming plate to have a four-hours auto shutoff, but it is what it is, and I have learned to deal with the two-hours auto shutoff. Just moved the "Brew Later" feature up one and one-half hours and that works fine. This means my wife has hot coffee when she awakens.I had seen a complaint that the carafe leaks some coffee when pouring, but I have not experienced that problem. There will be some drops of condensation from the lid, if the coffee is allowed to set a short time.Have no idea what long term service will be, but I had one of these years ago and used it for many years before the reservoir started leaking. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good enough *by M***. on June 4, 2024* This coffee maker is good enough for what I need.This is the third one I’ve purchased in five years. The heating element is not too great. Have to microwave every cup.Also the display craps out and it’s a guessing game.Professional opinion: eh. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Like the 4-12 Cup Function *by S***S on July 13, 2025* I had a hard time finding this one. I like that it accommodates 4-12 cups by utilizing a dial that controls the amount of water that goes in the carafe. I can fill the well to 12 cups & set the dial on 4 and it will dispense that amount only in the morning or dial it to 12 when company is over. . I haven’t found another affordable coffeemaker with that specific function.
