My husband says it works great. Charges fast. The cord is a little short but not really a complaint as we have an outlet right there.

Works Exactly Like it Should
I bought this because the B&D battery charger that came with the Alligator Chainsaw took way too long to recharge batteries. This one can recharge a 3.0ah battery in less than an hour for a mostly drained battery whereas the the other charger would take between 3 to 4 hours. I've used it with both the 1.5ah B&D battery that came with the saw and the pair of 3.0ah after market Peyesten manufactured batteries without any issues. It will detect when a battery is too warm to charge and you need to let the battery cool down before charging by giving you a flashing red light rather than the flashing green indicating it's charging the battery.
