Romfh Ladies Champion FS Breech

Just received these. Fabric is of medium weight, sturdy and comfortable, with a nice cotton/blend stretch. Has a bit of a ballistic fabric feel. Nice. Looks like it will wear well and be heavy enough for moderate winters and light enough for summer riding. The two pockets aren't very deep. I wouldn't put anything in them while riding as it could roll out. Not a mid-rise. This is one of the rare riding breeches that I've found that come up to the natural/classic waist, which I love. Wish there were more classic waist breeches. No shrinkage on first wash in cold water. I'm 5' 3, waist 34 inches hip 40 inches and usually wear a size 32. Bought a 34 based on waist size as some breeches run small. Had to return them and get the 32. So these run true to size if not a tad ample. Return and reorder was a breeze.

I love these breeches! I had been looking for a higher rise breech, and this comes about to the natural waist. Since they are a bit fuller cut, I plan to order a size smaller next time. The fabric has a nice amount of stretch. It is probably not as dirt resistant as the Serafina fabric, though. I just wish they came in more colors.

I wash and dry every week and have had them for a year, and they still look new. My only complaint is that the calf is too tight. I don't have particularly large calves but they pinch and are uncomfortable there. However, I have yet to find another pair of breeches that satisfy both aesthetics and comfort, so I have these in several colors. I am 5'8", 130lbs, small waist & fuller hip. 26L fits great and 28L was too large/gaped at the waist. R length was much too short. If you're between sizes, I suggest sizing down.

Love these breeches. The wide waistband hits at the perfect spot to be both flattering and comfortable. They look professional but are sturdy enough for daily wear. I teach 6+ hours in them multiple times a week and they will still look fresh and new out of the wash. Worth the money.

Could be a little higher in the waist, but there are belt loops. Otherwise, good.
