Is this what I should use to transfer a photo to cloth?

Yes. If you laser print your photo onto the shiny side of the a label’s backing paper (you have to peel off and discard/use elsewhere the actual label) you can just just peel it off after drying instead of the water and rub method!

Description states, "Usually ships within 2 to 4 months". I'm hoping that is an error because I was just about to order this.

It depends on seller. If you want to order this with current seller which lead time to ships is 2-4 month, try to contact and confirm with them. It might be an error like you said. Or you might try to order this with another seller with less lead time to ship. The 99 Give Store usually ships this item within 3-4 business days.

I used this to create textures for my painting and it just shrank and flattened. I thought this was suppose to give texture and high peaks. How come?

Firstly, the product will flatten out on a flat surface as it dries - this is an unavoidable effect of gravity. "High peaks" must be carefully sculpted and then reshaped while drying - consider drying your piece upside down. Let gravity do its work. Secondly, this product is designed to be used with other Liquitex acrylic paints - if you're mixing it with another type of paint, an unfavorable chemical reaction may be affecting your desired result. The same holds true if you are applying it over a painted surface which has dried. Third, you could consider adding a stiffening agent, such as quick setting acrylic adhesive, to your mixture. This will force the gel to "set up" quickly and stiffen. Experiment with a little bit of material first.

After I transfer a photo, can I use this on top as a finish or is it just for the transfer process?

You use it as a top coat, it dries clear and works as a seal

Great for decoupage without wrinkles!

Great product!

Product arrived aon time. No damage to shipping container. I find this product to be very helpful when glueing model parts that have been painted with arcrylic paint. There is no need to scrape the paint off from the painted part before glueing. The Liquitex bonds well with both the painted surface as well as the part you are glueing.

One of the best scenic cements for model railroads and dioramas

I am not a painter and I don’t use it for creating artwork. I use it for scale models and model railroads. Its properties are perfect for model scenery work. It has a thinner consistency than standard PVA or Mod Podge, which allows it to flow beautifully around ballast, static grass, and ground cover without clumping. You can thin it with at lest 50% water and you will still have holding power.The best part is the finish. It dries to a completely flat, dead-matte look. There is absolutely no shine or gloss, which is critical for creating realistic ground textures. It's also great for gluing down paper building kits or signs .If you're a modeler looking for the perfect adhesive for your scenery, I highly recommend giving this a try.

Perfectly matte medium

Some products that say they are matte are actually satiny or a little less shiny than gloss. This product really is matte. It is medium thickness - thicker than a varnish but thinner than a gel. I used it to adhere some papers to the covers of a little binder, and it worked fine. I am very happy with rhis product.
