Great table at a great price!
I bought this table to roast coffee outside on my covered patio instead of lugging the machine to my grill. It arrived quickly with a somewhat beat-up box but no big deal and the table itself was undamaged and flawless. It assembled very easily and quickly even though there were no instructions, not even a picture!! If you've eve assembled a kid's toy or anything from Scandinavia, this will be a cake walk. It's beautiful once assembled and very sturdy. I have it on a covered porch with a compact refrigerator underneath (with room to the side for supplies) and my coffee roaster on top with plenty of room to spare for cooling, prep, whatever. The day after I assembled it we had a pool party and this served as a good test for it as a serving/buffet table--perfect! A few suggestions: it's pretty heavy so it's probably best to have two people and assemble it roughly where you are going to place it. Also, I gave it a couple of good soaking of Boos Mystery oil, sold on Amazon, as I have a lot of their cutting boards and so a lot of the oil and the table top was very dry. Definitely a good buy but maybe print out a picture to refer to when you are assembling it.

Great value and quality!
I am using this as a prep table in my kitchen, which has very limited counter space. I was concerned that it wouldn't provide enough geography to do what I needed. Once I received and assembled the table, it was delighted with the amount of space it provides. The table is very sturdy and the legs adjust for my uneven floor, which is helpful. Another reviewer suggested it could be adjusted several inches, but I think the amount is more like a couple of inches. While the table comes pre-finished with an oil coating, I found that it took several applications of mineral oil before the table stopped soaking it up. I warm the oil slightly, slather it on the table, including the edges, and let it sit overnight. Next day wipe it off with a clean rag. I repeated this process for five nights, until it appeared the table would not accept any more. It is now easy to clean and sheds water well (although Boos cautions against leaving water standing on the table). Every few weeks I apply some more warm mineral oil to keep the wood seasoned. My only complaint deals with the packaging. When the table arrived there was a gash in the container. While this had no effect on the table top itself, when I opened the package a couple of the screws simply fell out. They had not been well packed inside and were loose. I was lucky that none had escaped during shipping, since they are critical to the assembly process. Otherwise, I am fully satisfied with this table. And considering the cost of much smaller, free-standing Boos boards, it is a fantastic value.

Good wood
The table top surface is very smooth and flat, and shows a variety of maple grain patterns, a few very pretty "curly" pieces mixed in. The 3'x4' slab is entirely 4' length pieces which is great. The bottom side had some imperfections, but I see no reason to care.It came shipped via UPS - box was basically destroyed, table top dirty and dented on corners and edges, and one of the feet had seemingly fallen out in transit. I was able to negotiate a reasonable discount with amazon, so that ended up ok. In my experience, UPS is often harsh on big packages while FedEx handles them much better. Hopefully amazon considers that in the future.I ended up sanding the damaged areas to clean up the contours and the hammered in dirt (from falling out of the box), coating the whole thing in amber shellac, and putting it on some 28" desk height legs from MBQQ.

Impressive table. Easy to assemble and feels like a Butcher Block top
I was thinking this was a bit of lightweight table, but really this is heavy duty and the top is thick and durable.I put it together in about 12 minutes. The only issue I had is on two of the legs, one of the screw holes is drilled slight off. I drilled a small start hole and let it line up. But really this was impressive for the money. I am going to continue to furnish my company with these models.

Good-looking workhorse of a table
I purchased this as an alternative to a traditional island in my kitchen. I love it. It was easy to put together by myself (heavy for a minute while flipping it, but not a big deal) and seems to be holding up under some serious use. I have an old house, and it fits in yet still looks very modern. I can easily put six people around this table for parties, plus still have standing room, and as a bonus, all the stools fit underneath out of the way in daily use. The other thing that was great about this is the adjustable legs - as I said, I have an old house, and there is nearly an inch drop over the span of this table. You would never know it thanks to the way I was able to level this. I wasn't in love with the light wood in the photos, but I have been oiling it for awhile now and it is starting to look more like a traditional (i.e. more expensive) traditional butcher block table. Highly recommend.

Best Purchase I've Made on Amazon
Delivery service was seamless. Set-up (by husband) ridiculously easy. The table is perfect, functional, sturdy and attractive. We have a tiny kitchen and this block table gives us the space to access our appliances without having to haul them out of cabinets. I am so, so pleased with this purchase. I've included pictures (2&3) of the underside of the table as well. No issues there either. Thanks John Boos and Amazon!
