After returning a case that cost more than double (separately reviewed on Amazon) I didn't hold out great hopes for this. The packaging and initial appearance made it look much cheaper quality but I was pleased to discover this was a case of looks being deceptive. The main faults with my previous purchase were poor fit and a slippery, non textured feel to the silicone. This case remedies both of those issues and I feel much more confident in maintaining a secure grip on my A7iv. The silicone skin is thinner than the more expensive product but I believe this to be a good thing. It fits more snugly and just looks better overall in my opinion. I prefer the design considerations when it comes to the cut outs as well. More thoughtful and allows you direct access to the most critical, newer style tactile buttons on the A7iv. I like the approach of leaving the flash shoe fully accessible with a cutout - far more practical and neat looking. Some may find operation of the mode dial switch a little tricky if they regularly switch between stills/video. It was tolerable to me but may bother some. I'm confident trimming a couple of millimetres of silicone off would be an easy and unnoticable fix if you felt the need. I noticed there's no cut out for the small red light to the right of the C4 button and this is totally obscured. I may be wrong, but I don't think this serves any critical function and shouldn't be a problem. Again, some careful DIY by cutting a small piece of silicone out would be an easy remedy if this was something that bothered you. Overall, I recommend this case for the money as it has a far more premium appearance than the one I initially purchased for a lot more money. Just take your time putting it on and don't rush it. The thinner silicone did give it an appearance of being more delicate and possibly likely to tear if handled carelessly during the installation phase.

Great product

Fits better than expected. It has a nice texture for good grip. Four stars because it doesn't quite fit neatly on the back bottom button. But overall I'm happy with it and it's good value for money.

Very happy with the camera, Videos and Photos are very good, For me it has been easy to use the menus and surprised with the battery life and the sharpness of the images

As this is made of silicon be prepared as your camera will overheat even if you shoot on 1080. contacted amazon and they weren't helpful at all and there is no option to contact the seller directly. so that's £30 in the bin.

Normally these silicone camera covers are made to surround the camera's vulnerable parts on all sides.This as many other flawed designers' patterns have followed does not! One side is left exposed on the hinge side of the Mk IV's LCD. It works sort of (?) but its a poor concept; even a single silicone strap holding the top of the cover to its bottom would have been a saving grace. As to the fit of the cover and the protection it offers for the other protected sides, this is good.

I like the item to grip on

Read a review here already by the person who tried two options and said this was the best. I took their word for it and thumbed up their review a while ago before getting it myself today.And fitting it on today, it fits so well and is comfortable and has a grip feel so I'm not worried it'll slip, even on a hot day.Definitely 5star for my new camera, knowing it'll keep more value without any scratches in the long run
