Ade Advanced OpticsRD3-006 Green Dot Reflex Sight for Handgun

It got here quickly, was packaged good, has tools, cover, dial in scale tool, actual instructions, cleaning cloth. Sight is not cheap looking. Made from solid aluminum, green dot is clear and sharp, highest brightness setting is very bright and does have a slight "desert sun at noon" starburst. This doesn't bother me because I wont ever use it where I am. Wife likes it there for her use. I used It on a 22 pistol for competition 1" Disc, Steel tree, shooting. Went right on, adjusted easily, stayed on true the whole time for about 250 shots. Friends with higher end optics Liked it too. I do understand Chinese production and sometimes a bad one does get by, just like here. Always a gamble with online purchasing for sure. Friend got a broken U.S. made sight right out of the box for $500+ I'll get back after next time out with an update.

Just received my ADE Advanced Optics RD3-006A green dot mini reflex and have mounted it on my Glock 19 gen 3. I received it quickly, on time for me anyway and in excellent packaging with, to my surprise, tools even though I wouldn’t need them. Someone, however, may. Very good idea. The dot is nice and bright and the controls, mounts and glass are all commensurate with a much pricier option. The dot loses its edge with the higher intensity settings. The green dot is sharp, bright but at the highest setting you get a halo starburst effect. No matter, I will probably not use that setting; there are a few other settings that are effective. This was very easy to install you want to try out a red dot before going to a more high-end piece, this will work and to Zero In. Best purchase I have made for the price and outstanding for what you get.

Optic looks amazing! Love the blue a lot. Product showed up extremely fast and 9 days early. Package was in excellent shape along with product box. Found only one imperfections around the lens that is just excess glue. Happy with my purchase and looking forward to buying more products in the future.

Works OK - front button will click up the green dot intensity when racking the slide if you're not careful to keep your hands away from the front of the unit. Use a laser boresight to set up POA or you will waste more ammo than the cost of the unit sighting it in. Took me quite a bit of practice using a red or green dot sight on a pistol without co-witness open sights. The dot is elusive without a reference and can get "lost in space". Once found, the dot is accurate, great to use, but getting there took me a while. Still undecided whether to keep it on my SP2022 or go back to the open sights, which are very accurate and line up without a fuss or a search, just like... open sights!

Everything looks good out of the box. Build quality feels good. Installation was a breeze, and it fits nice and flush on the slide. It completes my new 80% lower build nicely. I will put a few hundred rounds through it, and we'll see if it holds zero well. I'll update this review with more later. So far, I'm a happy camper!*** UPDATE 5\6\19 ***After about 500 rds, the glass came loose. Contacted seller for help. Will update again

Brightness is good, build quality is very nice.

I waited awhile to make a review on this optic. It acceded my expectations but a big margin. I bought this to put on a 9mm SAR k2P. Holds zero, the dot is easy to see and despite me grabbing it to rack the slide the finish and glass hasn't been effected. If your looking for a budget friendly micro dot i suggest you try this one out.

Bought this a year ago. All easy install - I hardly used it, battery died when I needed to use it.Also, what’s this “minority owned” business? Now I see it’s not about the quality but virtue signaling.
