Well Built, bright, excellent QD lever; love it.
The last time I wrote a thorough review on an obscure product that I truly loved that product jumped from about 17 right up to 2000+ reviews quickly. So; I will be thorough on this product as well because I Have strong feelings about this PL-2 Valkyrie Olight.Pros:- Extremely bright, with wide and extended range as compared to My Surefire- Feels Extremely well built(seems so, I haven’t field tested yet)- Moderately compact and lightweight- Quick detach lever with a locking detent included-1913/Picatinny rail & Glock rail adapter included- Ambidextrous by default- Locking mechanism for battery access-Strobe- Quality/concise packaging-better than Apple products (some peeps care about this!)Cons:-Gets hot quickly-Uses two batteries-Slightly wider than other lights/side-by-side batteries-Made in ChinaNote: it is very difficult to photograph exactly how bright the PL-2 Valkyrie light is compared to my other light, due to autofocus and light adjustment on the IPhone 7. I DID click on the same screen-objects to autofocus/light adjust when photographing lights separately. Also, I’ve had the Surefire for a while but am not sure of its rating. The pictures will have to reveal the difference. I’ve taken comparison photos indoors, outdoors, and side-by-side to compare my Surefire and Olight. Note, in one of my pictures the red circles depict which spot light goes to what flashlight, O for Olight and S for Surefire. Also note the illumination of the white fence below the trees while using the Olight. It should give u a reference for the area flooding from the Olight. My Surefire picatinny adapter is cheap. It fell off once Well firing it and gave me reason to consider buying an actual tactical light designed for handguns. I reviewed TLR and an economic light for about a year and then found the Olight. I have used TLR before and they are excellent and reliable. They’ve recently gone up in price and that detail drove me to consider the Olight with its new (only about five) stellar reviews and pictures. Glad I did.The Olight fits My Walther PPQ M2 navy and PPQ 45 ACP perfectly. However it does notFit my Walther CCP. There is not enough CCP real estate for the Olight Picatinny 1913 no-slide bar to reach the first notch on the CCP Pcatinny rail.I was concerned about acquiring A holster that would fit the old light as it is slightly wider than most lights. However I found one (OWB) on from randrholsters on E to the Bay (Amazon won’t let me post link)I’m a regular reviewer w a good bit of combat and shooting experience. Like my post if this helps!!

Amazing value!
My one and only concern with this light is how bright it is at 1200 lumens...And the resulting splash back experienced indoors. However, I can’t blame Olight for that, as I knew how bright it was when I purchased it. Olight does make some lights that are well under 1200 lumens, but I liked the size of this light, and I feel it offers great value for the money. I also like that it fits holsters made for the TLR 1/2 series of lights. So, I just make it work and the pluses of this light far outweigh the concerns I had.I am using this light on a Glock 22, and I have at least 2000 rounds through the gun with this light attached. And while it gets incredibly dirty (hardly the lights fault) it continues to run like a champ. I have no concerns whatsoever about the quality of this light. I recently purchased the PL Mini 2 for a Beretta APX and I have been very happy with that light as well.I’ve had great luck with Olight, and I absolutely recommend them to others. You get a ton of value and their lights hold up very well. They are certainly in the upper echelon of WML. And IMO they offer the most bang for your buck. If you’re considering this light, I doubt you will be disappointed!*******************************I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item. GREAT LIGHT! I waited to do a review on ...
GREAT LIGHT! I waited to do a review on this light until I had a chance to Fire the gun during the night time. There are 2 definite things that this light is: 1. Solid as a rock. And 2. Extremely , Extremely bright. Very well built as with all of the Olight products that I have are. Comes with a Glock rail attachment and a 1913 pic rail one also. Well thought out , if you hold it and then release, it will go off. If you touch it once it will stay on. If you press both sides at the same time then it will strobe. I don't know if you have ever been strobed, but it is very confusing and debilitating to your vision. No regrets from this purchase. This one will live on my carry piece.

Another great O-light product
I really like this light.I own the streamlight TLR-1s.Basically the same light for comparison.I saw this and had to grab one, it was about 50$ less then I paid for the streamlight at store price.I am a O Light fanboy and have a few of their handheld lights. This light is great. It is really bright, the buttons give a nice positive click when using, and I really like the swing/lock style of the rail mount. It makes it really easy to quickly remove.I have used the living hell out of the streamlight with never any issue. I haven't had time to put work in on the OLight, but will update after use.I just got the light but it feels very solid, it looks clean, and IT CAME WITH A FREE PATCH. That's awesome. PICS PROVIDED
