I seldom leave reviews but just have to for this well priced, quickly delivered and high quality steel drum. I purchased it for a gift for my grandson and honestly I think I will purchase one for myself! The case is very nice and sturdy. I can't wait to give it to my grandson.

I was just starting to get Happy Birthday down when I broke my wrist! This a fun, nice sounding, and portable instrument. I found the quality of the sound just fine for a beginner like me (non-musician) so a more expensive drum isn't necessary at this point. It's made well and is a lovely colour. I think you would be pleased with it as well.

Great value for the price. It's a great beginner instrument. I got it for myself but get it out for family gatherings for people to play around with. The book has a few popular songs that my 7 year old nieces learned to play in the space of about an hour of tinkering around. The tones are actually pretty good 👍 I got the 14 inch. One of my nieces ended up getting the 12 inch, and I almost think that I like the tone of that one better. Adding one of these to your household is a great idea

I want a hand pan, but thought it would be smart to start with a cheaper drum to see if I even enjoy playing it. Happy to say that I love this little drum. Plays great for being $80! It was pretty intuitive to pick up the patterns of what notes sounded good together. @sailing_cindy for a couple videos showing different sound styles.

This is my second Tongue Drum (first purchase went to a friend who loves music) and I fell in love with this instrument and so got the 14 inch version in D major for myself. The tuning is spot on, the rubber feet on the bottom create a outstanding resonating chamber. The tone is warm, reflective and it is so fun playing 'Hey Jude' or 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' and the 14 note range makes these more complex songs possible. The supplied carrying bag is exceptional and has a outside zippered pocket for the drum mallets and mallet stand. I scan the small sheet music book the came with it with my phone and then print them out on a 8×12 " letter size and use a clipboard as a table top music stand. I Would highly recommend this musical jewel.Tip to optimize the sound: remove the bottom rubber gasket and the emitted sound will be deeper more resonate. Also take a 3 inch circle of regular felt fabric and cover the end of the supplied mallets & secure with a rubber band and your mallet strikes will have a more resonate and non-metallic vibration. You can spend $15 to $30 on felt tipped tongue drum malletts or just do this modification for much less $ and I was able to return my new set of felt mallets that didn't sound as good as the felt modified originals.
