Sophocles : Antigone (Focus Classical Library)

I had to read Antigone for a college class and this was the recommended translation for us to use. I tried looking up other versions/translation online, but this one was definitely the best I’ve read. It explains the context and different interpretations of the text very well- which made the story much easier to read and understand. I also appreciated the inclusion of the essays in the back of this book- I found them to be a good source to use when I had to write my papers about Antigone. Whether you need to read Antigone for school or just want to read it for fun, this is a solid book to use.

Needed this book for a literature course. The story is amazing, but that's not what you're here for. The book was in pristine quality as expected.
