Does good in what it's designed for.
There is no perfect anchor for every bottom. This does well on sandy bottoms that aren't packed too tight. Do follow reccomendations for how to rig the anchor if you are near a reef, I was very sad to lose my anchor on my first day out, but I bought another one and I've been happy since. I use a velcro cable tie so I don't put any more plastic in the ocean than I need to. I'm only anchoring a stand up paddleboard, so the risk and the forces are incredibly low, but this does the job for its weight. I usualy use way more than the reccomend 7:1 scope, but it will hold in that neighborhood.
