Most shakers these days are following the trend of having a silly metal ball inside the shaker. I absolutely hate them things. I like the ones that have a round plastic mesh you place inside the top. Many are flimsy and end up breaking, but these are solid thick plastic and built to last. These should last a lifetime.

These are best shakers I've ever had. I've had alot of different shakers over the years, and these are the best. Solid, do a good job, and easy to clean.
