This is ultra simple. Simply put it over the edge of your board and twist. Just like that you a centered and you have a drill guide. Or you can use a sharp pencil to draw a line down the center of a board. So much easier and faster then measuring, measuring again center punching, then drill in on an angle to screw the job up!

Dead easy to use, once the correct depth has been ascertained & set. The guide self-centres on the material, ensuring an accurately placed dowel.One thing that would be useful would be duplicates of the little punches that indicate where the reciprocal hole is to be drilled, for multiple marking.

I've always needed something like this for years. I used it for drilling some 10mm holes that needed to be drilled accurately vertical. This jig did it perfectly first time. It will get a lot of use.
