Sharp, Sturdy, Attractive Nail Clippers
When I needed to replace my beloved nail clippers after years of use, I decided to take a chance with these Chimocee clippers despite having never heard of hte company. I'm glad I did because these are so much better than the readily-available (and well-known) Revlon brand. They are sturdy, cut cleanly, and come in a tin that you can use for storing them. There's a built-in metal nail file that comes covered in a blue film that must be removed; even though it's difficult to use the file, it comes in handy if you can't otherwise get to an emory board or file. The set is definitely nice enough to use as a small gift; I plan to get more next year to use as stocking stuffers.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

BUY THESE!
These came in a nice metal box. At first, I thought they would be too small to stay in the hand. Especially my husband, who has pretty big hands and never wants to use the smaller clippers, even when it's the only one he can find. He had no problem with these. They also have some weight to them, which I never thought was important, but they just feel so nice in my hand. And they are super sharp, my husband had no problem cutting his toe nails. The edges are also rounded, so the "corners" don't dig into the skin. They are curved a little, so they contour to your hand. I love that. There also a built in file, no more folding one out that doesn't stay put while your trying get rid of that hang nail.I never thought I'd gush over nail clippers, but these are awesome!

They're decent
Bought these in the beginning of 2018 in January, a few weeks ago the smaller one started acting weak. Like even when the nail clipper is fully closed on a nail im trying to trim, it would take some effort to trim. Then when it came time to trim nails again it just broke, the part you put tension on just broke right off. The bigger version is still working perfectly fine, its just disappointing because its stainless steel. I'll give it 4 stars for lasting over 3 years.

Set to Go
As other reviewers have commented, this is a splendid nail clipper set.The blades are very sharp, and the larger clipper made fast and easy work of cutting even my hardened senior toenails.I also like the handy storage case that holds both clippers -- a metal box with a see-through window and a foam insert. The only slight negative I could mention are the diminutive nail file patches. Most clippers have a separate hinged nail file attached. Here, you have a little filing square built into the clipper (hidden, at first glance, by protective plastic film you must remove). IMO these squares could be a bit bigger, but they do the job.In summary, this is a fine nail clipper set, attractively priced.

Sharp, comfortable and easy to use - The best nail clippers I've had in a long while
Who knew how difficult finding good nail clippers could be those days? After a couple of disasters with Revlon nail clippers purchased at CVS, I decided to give those a try, and have since then decided to give them to everyone I care about for Xmas – seriously. They're easy and comfortable to hold (even if you have arthritis), super sharp (but not to the point of being dangerous; I use them on my little one with no issues) and make cutting the strongest nails fast and easy. Also, there's an integrated metal nail file on each clipper, on the top of the handle – if you're into that kind of things...

Packaging is wasteful, too much trash
This comes in an elaborate box which is part aluminum, but not sturdy enough, due to plastic and paperboard, to keep for re-use. The extra metal and too much cardboard all go straight to recycling bins and never needed to be used for this packaging. These could be more simply packaged, and I'd feel much better about the purchase. The instruments are nice, have removable logos (with an small effort), which is an asset. Key-chain / lanyard holes are nice design touch, too. Price seems high for two clippers, I feel I paid extra for the dumb box.

Like the cheap store clippers better
Find that the cheap $2 drugstore clippers to be easier to use. These Chimicee blades have thicker edges, which are harder to get under nails. These clippers also lacks the very useful pointed file swing out blade, which one can dig at dirt or file problem edges. The only file is the fine grade emery squares on top which are much less useful than a real file, and will get worn out or nasty over time. Will not use much. I guess they are nice looking.

Brushed surfaces rock.
For years, I wished I had brushed rather than polished nail clippers. The reflection of light off the shiny surfaces often made it difficult for me to see the cutting edge precisely. These clippers solved that problem for me. They're sharp and cut cleanly. The nail file is embedded in the small lever and is useless. Thus the four stars. I like them and am glad I have them.
