Stainless Steel Black Lag 1/4" x 2" Hex Lag Screws (25 pcs) 18-8 Stainless Black Oxidized in USA

I needed to attach a horizontal 1 1/2” thick deck rail to an existing 3 1/2” vertical post with a black metal corner bracket, and I was finding only 1 1/2” or 1” long hex lag screws, and only in galvanized steel finish.These were the perfect length - long enough to support the rail and short enough not to go right through the board!They also look great, and will last, due to the stainless steel material and black oxidized treatment, which doesn’t get scratched off.Paired with washers made of the same material by the same company, they give a finished look to my deck.

Easy to use, fit into ratchet perfectly, appears to be well coated.

Mounted a TV to an outside wall by putting plywood onto the wall spanning 3 studs, but needed something sturdy and fully threaded to grip into the plywood to hang the mount. Needed stainless since it was outside. The black finish helps it blend in nicely with the mount as well. Currently holding up a 75" TV without issues. Bit into the plywood nicely and had no problems with the lags failing and having the heads twist off as I tightened them down which I've had issues with on cheaper lag bolts.

I predrilled the holes and these worked perfectly for gate hinges. Good quality and black didn’t come off..
