Love love love this product. It’s all you need for protein. No fancy expensive treatments needed!Didn’t buy for color treatment so I can’t speak to that. Using as a regular protein treatment on virgin/untreated 2b-3a textured waves/curls. Applied diluted 1:3 ratio mixed with water pre-wash and let it sit for 20 minutes. Used it in shower in same ratio in between washing and conditioning; let sit for 10-15 minutes in shower before rinsing.My hair has never been so soft as it is after using this treatment. This product is fabulous! My hair grew back after chemo as wavy/frizzy so I have had keratin treatments, but due to COVID (I’m high risk) I can’t get them OR have my hair colored. After I colored/toned, the toner fried my hair. A little “googling” led me to this product. I love it! I posted a photo of my hair after I blew it out; looks like I had a keratin treatment! It FEELS like it also; so much easier to brush/blow dry. I used to have to use a straightener to get it like this. (See my “frizz” photo, taken right before last time I had keratin treatment at salon.) I highly recommend for over-processed hair in need of frizz treatments or repair. Be careful not to overuse it; too much protein can make hair brittle. I hope you love this as much as I do! Best thing to come out of COVID-necessitated home hairstyling.

This product is a life saver! After triple bleaching my hair and leaving it in a state of over processed and high porosity despair, it was evident I couldn't dye my hair without some help to save the little integrity that my strands had left. I have used this product over the top of a coconut oiling treatment before demi permanent dying, and I have also used it on its own before demi permanent dying - and on both occasions, the result has been fantastic. It helps achieve a much more consistent colouring, has given my weak bleached strands extra strength, and minimised further damage after multiple rounds of chemical processing. For one application, I ended up using 1/3 of the 4 oz bottle and applied this directly to my hair, leaving it to stand for 20 minutes prior to dying (rather than mixing in with the developer). For the price, purchasing this a no brainer - particularly if you want to keep your hair intact or if you have incredibly damaged hair that won't hold colour.

I follow the Curly Girl Method for my high porosity 2B/2C hair which loves protein. This stuff works great to add some extra protein to my hair routine. I add a few drops to my palm & then mix it in my hand with my conditioner & apply it to my hair then rinse out. Works great!

I haven't used this for coloring my hair yet. However, I use it as a protein treatment for my wavy/curly hair. I love it, it's very effective at giving my hair some bounce and life when it starts "wilting" and losing shape. Lots of extra details below for those who want them ;)***My hair is fine-medium coarseness, very dense. When I need protein, my hair doesn't hold volume, the curl drops easily, and overall looks considerably thinner in density than it actually is.I've listed a few ways of how I've used it below- for options 1 and 2, I need to follow up with a deep condition. My hair doesn't get tangly (very good for me, my hair tangles easily), but it does feel dry to the touch afterwards. Option 3, I need to follow up with a quick "regular" condition after rinsing it out. Option 4, I just need to rinse out, but it is the weakest treatment. I use option 4 when I notice that my hair is starting to feel tired, it isn't enough if my hair is already tired. With all options, I do need to use a leave-in and a cream in my styling routine post-shower, because my hair will still feel a little dry even after conditioning appropriately. I'm fine with that, because I love how lively my hair is afterwards!Ways I've used it:1. As directed on the bottle (for strong treatment)2. Short version as directed on the bottle, while I finish up my shower (slightly less strong, but still impressive)3. Short version as directed on the bottle, conditioner layered over it, while I finish up my shower (same as 2, but easier to control softness afterwards)*4. Mixed in my hand with my conditioner, while I finish up my shower (preferred way for me, but weakest option)

I absolutely love this product. My hair would not hold dye , every time I washed it a lot of dye would go down the drain. Also the color was not even and my hair felt dry, coarse from repeated coloring. I left it on my washed, damp hair for 20 min and then applied dye. Not only my hair was protected and feels smooth and shiny, but the color is so much more even than before. Recommend to everyone who is struggling with porosity, coarseness and dryness.

This is the first time I've used a product like this. I have ash blonde hair but my hair has turned grew (white). I am coloring my hair about every 6 weeks (roots and then a comb out to the ends) . I find that after about 3 weeks my hair has lightened considerably and turns a bit brassy. I used this product before coloring my hair this last time as directed in the instructions. Once it had dried my hair felt straw-like ( dry). I proceeded to color my roots and hair as I usually do using a conditioner after rinsing. My hair was soft, beautifully colored and has remained so no for 3 weeks. I am impressed with how healthy my hair looks. I will continue to use this product. BTW a little goes a long way. I applied it with a regular coloring brush you would use to color your hair.

I ordered this product Monday evening and it arrived on Wednesday, I was very optimistic about this product as it’s a bit pricey and nothing seems to be fixing my hair.I have been bleaching and dying my hair for years, I’ve been purple, pink, blue, red and more but I was fed up of constantly dying my hair and wanted to go to a normal ginger. I stripped my hair twice and it went a greeny blue colour but I thought a box dye would cover this.....not exactly, it covered my roots perfectly but it was a blond/green/blue/ginger colour on the ends. I did some research and it seemed this stuff would do the job so I thought I would give it a go. I washed my hair with shampoo and towel dried, I then covered my hair with this some with spray bottle and also by just pouring it on, I probably used more than I should have, I left it for 20 mins then put my box dye on (I added a squeeze to the box dye as well) I left for 30 mins then washed off.IT WORKED! I’m so happy with what my hair looks like now! I don’t know how long this will last as I’ve only just done it but it’s a massive difference from before so I’m happy!Fingers crossed it stays like this now!Thank you :)
