Nice fragrance and consistency..

This is a great product. I have rosacea but this can peel off my skin without increasing redness. First time of use it feel just a little irritated -but it's a peeling so it was expected - second time was OK , better looking , healthier skin!!

(Ingredients list is at the bottom of this review.)I was really hoping to like the Embryolisse Active Night Peeling (1.35 fl. oz.). I have dry, sensitive skin, so I was hoping that this night peel would be a very gentle form of overnight exfoliation for me. Unfortunately, I found that it irritated my skin.Upon first applying the product, I thought everything was going well. It seemed surprisingly moisturizing. I had expected to need to layer a moisturizer on top of it, but I didn't need to. Unfortunately, after a while, my skin started to feel warm. My skin began to tighten, sting, and feel uncomfortable. It looked glossy, tight, and dehydrated. Even though the layer of moisture still remained on my skin. I knew that I was having a reaction to the product, and my skin barrier was beginning to break down. I washed my face to stop the sensitive reaction. I think the caviar lime may have irritated my skin, because I usually do very well with Embryolisse products. Some people just don't do well with citrus extracts.This is a decent product with some nice emollient ingredients. It isn't the smoothest cream, but it does have a thick, creamy texture. It is like a thick moisturizer, but it's not my favorite moisturizer texture. The scent is sort of like a creamy citrus scent.This night peel comes in a plastic tube. I do feel like the price of $35 is a little high for this product.Overall, this didn't work for my skin, but I imagine that lots of people with sensitive skin could benefit from this type of gentle exfoliating moisturizer. Though, I do feel like the formulation and texture could be better. Especially for the price. After using the Embryolisse Active Night Peeling, 1.35 fl. oz., I have to say that my pores look much more refined, and my complexion appears to be refreshed. I am extremely pleased with this night peeling cream. It has 95% natural ingredients, and an appealing texture and fragrance.I wasn't sure what to expect. When I opened it, I saw a thin tube. I squeezed out some of the cream, and it is thicker than I thought it would be. It does have a scent; it's the signature Embryolisse fragrance, which I personally love, so that is not an issue for me. I spread it all over my face in the evening.In the morning, my skin looked radiant. My pores appeared much more refined--smaller, and my skin was smooth and even. This cream indicates that it can be used on dry and sensitive skin. My skin is both dry and sensitive, and I had no problems using this cream.I will continue to use it on a regular basis. I am extremely pleased with these results, especially as there were no immediate issues that arose: tingling, itching, even minor spots, or a tiny pimple, which can occur with good products.Highly recommended. Thick and emollient cream, non-irritating.

I like the effects that this brings to the table. I love these subtle heavy hitters. They are powerful but feel so light and soft that you aren't sure it is working. I used this for a couple of nights, first applying a bit and then rinsing to make a clean base for the night cream. There is a delicate scent that faintly smells citrus to me. It is in a white tube that isn't highly generous. That is why I prefer to use a tiny drop at a time. This cream does work, though, because it is a silky cream that makes my skin feel good.This product is enough of a novel idea that I don't mind buying save the small tube.Your skin enjoys active peeling. The visible difference for me is the pore reduction, the revealing of new skin, and the general smoothing of my skin. I will gladly gift this and maybe add a pretty face sponge.This item is not going to last forever, sadly.Enjoy!

I am 40+ with fair freckled sensitive skin and this works for me! I don't react well to all peeling products as my skin can redden easily, but this has not been a problem for me with this product. I absolutely love how my skin looks the day after using this! It is smooth, plump, and simply glowing!The tube says that this is suitable for daily use and I would believe that. I have not used it that way as I did not want to use this all up - I save it for the night before days when I want to look my best. Having said that, this is a 1.35 oz tube and at this price that is not unreasonable.I layer this in between my hydrating serum and my night cream. I don't think that is absolutely necessary, but that is a must for me with retinols so that is how I have approached this product as well. I have not found this to be drying in the least or to cause flaking or peeling.
