Miracle Product
I had dozens and dozens of chigger bites that were very red and extremely itchy. After almost 2 weeks the bites were not getting any better. I read that tea tree oil is a deterrent for these bugs. I found this product online and decided to try it. My bites were all over, so after my shower at night I applied this product all over. The next day I was not itchy and the bites seemed to start fading. I am on day 3 and they are finally starting to clear up. I was so miserable, I consider this my little miracle product and I will be keeping extra jars on hand should I ever have cuts, burns or other insect bites.

This stuff is awesome!
Ok, I can't say enough good things about this product. I didn't expect to like it so much, mainly because I'd previously ordered a seemingly similar tea tree product, that didn't work well for me at all. This one, however, is a gem.I've always taken longer than the average person to heal cuts and sores, and the standard OTC anti-bacterial has rarely worked for me. I opened this right away upon receiving and used it on a sore on my leg that was just beginning to get infected. The creamy ointment soothed it almost immediately. I used it twice more before bed, and the very next day my sore looked markedly better. It continued to improve and is now completely healed after four days of 3x daily use. Yaaay! This rarely happens this way for me, so I know it's due to this product.Love the scent, and the creaminess of this ointment. It's a little bit oily in an easy to apply thick creamy consistency that absorbs very quickly into the skin. It's awesome - my new go to antibiotic treatment. I bought one for my kids, too. Please do not change this product. :)

A must have for bug bites
I've been using this brand and product for many years. It all started when I went to the mountains for a retreat. For some odd reason, the mosquito there really loved my blood. I was bitten in so many places and in places I didn't know existed. Unfortunately I didn't have the right bug repellent or ointment with me as I used another brand. Suffice to say, when I returned home, I went to the store and asked an employee what they'd recommend. I was told the Tea Tree Therapy Antiseptic was really the best at treating bug bites.Well, the store employee was absolutely right! I read the ingredients for this and while tea tree is an ingredient and widely known as an antiseptic, it also included lavender, eucalyptus, and rose geranium oil. I have to say that the rose and lavender scents were quite strong. I thought the eucalyptus and tea tree might be overpowering, but it was the geranium that was more pungeant. But oh well, aside from the scent, this ointment works great!!! Immediately after any bites or irritation on the skin, I would rub this on my skin. Not instant relief, but depending on how serious your bites are, it could take a couple applications for your bites to heal and not itch anymore. Nothing worse than scratching your bites because it'll make them worse.Aside from the strong scent (which isn't too bad), this has a cooling scensation most likely from the eucalyptus which is also nice. Now I keep a bottle or two in my house throughout the year. It's not quite a bug "repellent" because when I go out to tend to my garden, I still end up with a bite here or there. I then put on this ointment to treat the bites.

Use This Very Effective Natural Ointment on EVERYTHING!
I love this stuff! It took me three years to go through the first jar so I just ordered another one. I use it as an all-purpose ointment for rashes and bug bites, and it is amazing for clearing up and for protecting against chapped skin. I live in a very harsh climate and chapped skin is a constant battle. Also the antibacterial and anti-fungal properties of the ointment are amazing. My neighbor used it on his cracked, dry heels and says it cured his foot dryness problem. I love that it's a totally natural product made with high quality ingredients.

I Wish It Didn't Smell Like Rosewater
So I got this in particular for use on my face. Having read the other reviews, especially the ones that said this worked well on rosacea, I figured it couldn't be worse than my skin's current condition. I've used tea tree/lavender essential oils in the past, so I'm A. very familiar (and ok) with the smell of tea tree oil and B. aware of it's powerful ability to clear up skin, heal rashes, and work as an antifungal. Here's the thing: When I read some of the reviews here that talked about the strong smell, I assumed they just meant the tea tree oil smell. This I don't mind, and so I proceeded. However, I do have a high sensitivity to fragrances, odors, and chemicals, and that will even include essential oils sometimes. The strong, lingering smell of this ointment, at least in my experience, is not the tea tree oil but rather a strong, a bit sickenly sweet-ish rose smell, much like rosewater, but VERY potent. And what's weird is you don't smell it until the stuff's been on your skin for a few minutes, and then it's ALL I smell. I'm guessing the culprit is the rose geranium oil.So while it has been really good for my skin (all the stuff I read seems to be my experience--it works wonders), I really just can't handle that smell, and my husband is not a fan either, which means I'm going to try one of these two ointments, which are sans rose oil: Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00199YUBG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=A3IQGL03Z0MNP5 and Beauteous Earth Psoriasis/Eczema Herbal Oinment http://www.amazon.com/Psoriasis-Eczema-Herbal-Ointment-Ingredients/dp/B00T546HD6/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1443542384&sr=8-13&keywords=tea+tree+ointment (expensive, but the reviews make me thing it might be worth it).If you LOVE the smell of rosewater/roses/rose perfume/your grandmother, this stuff shouldn't bother you, and it's definitely a good product.
