I needed a splitter for my Wii since my hard drive wouldn't work considering the wii couldn't provide enough power for it. This cable did the trick and was cheap to purchase, yet not cheaply made.

It works as described, but I will say one side charges fast and the other just trickles. I plug the trickle side into my device and a battery pack to the other side.

I bought a SanDisk Portable SSD (1TB) a while ago but since the Wii U delivers insufficient power from a single USB port, nothing happened upon connecting it. This cable fixes that issue since there will be a dedicated cable for power only and one for both data and power. The cable is sturdy and seems to have a great fit in the Wii U's USB ports. The cable is long enough for me, but I could see the possibility for struggling with this. I can't say much about the cable's lifespan since I've only just got it, but for as far as I know, this is a great Y-cable if you plan to use it with the Wii U.

Assez mitigé, ne fonctionne pas à chaque utilisation. Obligé de débrancher et rebrancher. Et ne fonctionne pas sur tous les ordinateurs ou sur tous les disques durs externes..
