Excellent dried herbs, really surprisingly strong once used in cooking.

This is your 'one size fits all' herb jar for pizza, pasta sauces, soup and so on. Yes, Schwartz herbs are more expensive than the supermarket 'own brand' equivalents (or generic brands here on Amazon) but they're good quality and make a real difference to your cooking.Also bear in mind that 27g is actually a reasonably large amount - herbs are not heavy! As others have noted, the container is plastic rather than glass, and is therefore less recyclable. The only minor criticism I'd make is that there's no "pouring" opening in the lid, only two different densities of sprinkle - if you want to use a measuring spoon you have to take the lid off entirely

These herbs are in a plastic tub that measures 10.4cm tall and has a diameter of 6.2cm.The tub arrives with a plastic security film around the lid. This film is not recyclable, but it is at least easy to remove thanks to some perforations. The plastic used for the tub itself and the lid are recyclable though and have a resin identification code of 5 (Polypropylene or PP).The lid has two flaps on either side of it. Flipping up one side reveals several small holes so that you can use to sprinkle the herbs without having to remove the whole lid, and under the second flap are larger holes, for you to pour out a larger quantity of herbs. These flaps work well and lock back into place with a reassuring click.The herbs themselves are a blend of Marjoram, Basil, Oregano, and Thyme. Schwartz has always been my go to brand for good quality herbs, and in this case they continue to live up to my expectations.The herbs I received has a use by date some 20 months from the time I received them.In conclusion, these are good quality herbs in a tub that has useful features that allow you to sprinkle or pour the herbs, without the necessity of having to remove the lid. It’s important to note that the tub contains 2 to 3 times the amount of herbs you get in a traditional herb jar, so if you do not use mixed herbs that often you may be better off getting a smaller jar instead. For those who use these herbs frequently though, I can highly recommend this tub.~ Amazon asked me to review this product and to give my honest opinion about it. Good size. Adds a good amount of flavour to tomato pasta dishes.

I like to have a well stocked herbs and spices cupboard. I use a lot of herbs and spices at home as I do a lot of cooking from scratch. I do have some fresh herbs too, but sometimes it is better to use dried herbs.This is a good quality and versatile mix of dried herbs, marjoram, basil, oregano and thyme. I do have some of these separately but this is a well balanced blend.This is bigger than most of the herbs and spice jars, and it is made of plastic. The blend is very versatile and can be used in a wide range of recipes and dishes.Schwartz herbs are more expensive than most generic products but they are good quality. I would definitely buy this again.
