This is a great medicine ball. It surprises you at first because it seems deceptively light until you pick it up. I love tossing it into the air and catching it for a work out. Good to grip. I actually incorporate it into an introduction ice breaker at a youth group and the kids love it as they introduce themselves in a circle while tossing and catching the ball

Excellent quality slam ball but out is much much larger than I originally thought! But not a bad thing, just not a traditional sized slam ball. 12lbs is a heavy slam ball….. if you are planning to use a slam ball to pick up more throwing velo for baseball, or football, then I would suggest 8-10lbs. The overall larger size of this ball allows you to use a lighter weight than you’d expect and much better results since the ball takes up a larger distribution of space and trains smaller supporting muscles vs the smaller slam balls.

So I got the ball, and it was a bit larger than I had anticipated. No big deal, I can work with it. The weight is good, but it is a little off balance. I bought it mainly as a wall ball, which is where the problems begin. The ball is leather (or similar material) which means its VERY slick unless your hands are a little grimy and sticky. It's hard to catch, as the ball wants to keep sliding between my hands. Are there benefits to this?? Sure...as you have to squeeze a little harder to secure the ball and work different muscles in the process. However, it also makes the ball more difficult to handle as you get more and more tired and try different movements. I've recently bought some hockey tape and covered most of the ball with it. Time will tell if this is lasting fix or not.

It is perfect. Exactly what I was looking for on my purchase. It is made well, very durable.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the 14 pound ball to prepare for Hyrox. It is very unevenly waited. Comes off the wall goofy, it’s hard to catch and generally very inconsistent feel in the hands likes to bump you in the face.I’ve used hundreds of wall balls over the years. This one is made with one heavy center core that’s not actually in the center but so far to one side it’s very unpredictable.

It is a great quality medicine ball. Very well constructed and the size is perfect.
