Warrior Products 867 Tow Bar D-Ring Adapter - Large 7/8 Pin / 3/4 D Ring
I purchased this to mount my "Maxxtow Towing Products 70065 Adjustable Tow Bar - 5000 lbs. Capacity" hitch to my (Bestop 42917-01 High Rock 4x4 Black High Access Front Bumper for 97-06 Wrangler TJ). The bumper which as it says went on my 2001 Jeep TJ which has 7/8ths holes for a clevis. The Adapter fit my tow bar perfectly and is easy to use as well as install. The pin fit the D ring hole which is the industry standard on my bumper. I am anal about safety so I keep a bag of these clips in the car. You should always check these if you stop somewhere and make sure no one has pulled one or you might not have pushed them in far enough. (It is known to happen). There is no mounting hardware to go onto your tow bar. I never use what is sent anyway in a case like this and went and bought a good set of AMERICAN made grade 8 bolts. I didn't buy them in the local big hardware centers either they get most of their hardware from China or ASIA where grade 8 can mean anything.I towed my Jeep for nearly 1700 miles on highways, mountain roads and some places where I shouldn't have been but got lost. (So much for relying on my cell phone to get directions) Worked great and are really heavy duty. You got to like heavy good steel and solid welds when you are going seventy MPH towing your precious jeep and know you sooner or later will stomp on that break pedal. Good luck drive safe ( I may be the idiot you have to stomp on those brakes for)

Monster conversion
I had bought a set of 7/8" pin adaptors for my last tow bar. They were a simple construction. Bend two pieces of metal. However, when I felt the weight of the box, I thought, did they send me two sets? Nope! Only one. Wholy cow! These are like military grade. Extremely heavy duty construction. Heavy gauge steal with beefy welds. The pin has a tension nut, so it will never vibrate loose. The large washer retains the pin. It's worry free. Impressive. I'm a mechanic, so I appreciate quality fabrication.

Should be options available
Ill fitting, weak hardware, poor quality control. This things as lose as a goose. I ended up having to replace all the hardware with grade 8 7/8" bolt and grade 5 1/2" bolts. I am using five 7/8" washers on one bracket and four on the other, but I need to squeeze a fifth one into there as well. I have (using a digital micrometer) measured everything on the bumper and the brackets to figure out where the faults are, and it appears the brackets are out by 2+ millimeters from one to the other.Solid built and heavy. The coating on it looks nice, but it have a few chips on it from shipping, and I dropped them a few times during installation; to be honest, I don't care how they look cosmetically since they are for utility purposes anyway.Below is the post I began before I towed the first time.My biggest complaint will be the hardware for attaching these to the bumper. The nuts are meant to only be used once, and whatever they are screwed onto will be damaged upon removal; in aviation, we would replace the nut and bolt each time they are removed. I bought nylon lock nuts to replace the supplied lock nuts, but the threads aren't cut deep enough on the bolt to allow a full seat for the locking nylon bushing. My second biggest complaint is fitment. In particular the gap between the D-ring eye on the bumper and the D-ring adapter. You can see in my photo where I put some white material in the gap to highlight it.

Excellent upgrade to flat-tow a jeep
I have a GenRight winch bumper on my YJ with 1" thick shackle mounts in front which have a 7/8" diameter hole. These were easy to install and all hardware was included. Towed 200 miles up to 75mph with no issues. No wiggle or gaps in the parts. Probably comes down to having a well-made bumper with proper tow points that are welded all the way through. One thing of note is that they only come with nuts and washers now, my model didn't come with cotter pins so plan to keep an adjustable wrench and a 3/4" socket/wrench handy. The nuts are not standard and will not go on finger tight, they need wrenches after the first full turn.

Well built
Extremely heavy duty and well built. Great quality with no concerns. Only downside was they come with no instructions and required looking at website photos to ensure proper install

You can modify bolt to accept a lynch pin instead of using the nut.
Worked great, used it with a Curt tow bar. I drilled a hole in each pin(bolt) holding the bracket to the d ring. If you do this you can use a 3/16 inch lynch pin to secure the pin(bolt) instead of using the nut. That nut is not meant to be removed once tightened so removing the tow bar is not really practical. Using the lynch pins makes removing the tow bar simple and allows you to install your shackles on the d rings when driving off road. In my opinion Warrior Products needs to supply the bolt already drilled and include lynch pins for an easier installation/removal of the bracket.
