GoControl GoControl Doorbell Camera, Wi-Fi Smart Doorbell Camera Security Camera, Silver (GC-DBC-1)

Have had this for a few weeks now and it isn't working very well. It texts my phone when someone is on my porch but doesn't snap a picture. It takes at least a minute to log into the doorbell and by that time the person has already left. If I'm at home and someone rings the bell, nothing happens on my phone, nothing! Luckily the bell still works but I thought I would be able to see who's at the dour before they just give up and leave...Updated 12/15/2017. So I returned it. I paid $195.00 and only got $171.50 back. WORST COMPANY EVER!! Purchased the SKYBELL HD and it is a stellar product. Head and shoulders above this one.

The worst thing about this device is the poor video quality. At this price it should have 1080p. Instead, it's not even hd. The image starts to pixilate if zoomed past about 3x. It is functional for use with an existing 16 volt AC doorbell circuit (which is also the required operating voltage). Other than that, it's an oddball device. It does NOT offer the ability to open the door from the app. Unfortunately, I did not install it until after the return window closed.

I have had this installed for a few days and it has overall been a good product but there are a few issues holding it back. The good: made well, responsive, motion detection works well, weather sealed, looks nice. The bad: Only records to your device while live viewing the camera, no cloud recording, no snapshot or video saved when motion is detected or button is pressed, can't view as IP camera. If they launch a cloud service and add the ability to use with as an IP camera this would be a 5 star product.

The product works well. But, make sure you remember your original password, because there is no way to recover the system if you don't. The app says to call customer service, but when you call them they charge $50/hr for phone support. Even if you get someone on the phone, if the doorbell guy isn't there, you're not getting any help.

At first everything worked fine. Then we lost the ability to save anything on cloud with no ability to upgrade or purchase. Now it does not alert my phone when anybody rings the doorbell. Basically the only thing it does is allow you to view live feed. We have tried to contact customer service many times over the past year and have gotten no response back. Find another product, it doesn't work as advertised and there is absolutely zero customer service.
