Description – This tool is used for determining if a particular fret is higher than the other two around it on your musical instrument. It is made out of aluminum and the sides measure 1 5/16 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 1/16in thick. Some features of our Fret Rockers include: Diamond Honed, for the smooth most accurate edge possible. “Easy Fix: option if you nick an edge or bend a side. Softer edges meaning less possible marring of frets. Made in NC, USA We use green energies and recycled packaging whenever possible to reduce our carbon foot print. Made by dedicated hard tooling. (Not CNC technologies which use a zig-zag cutting pattern.) Edge Quality - The edges on these have a non-uniform appearance by design. We cut these from select sheet stock using the staightest method known. Next they go through a diamond honing process. This removes any extremely small high spots. This creates a distorted look on the edge. We found if we continue the honing process too long it can actually make the edges crooked.

Very, very handy... Indispensable, really for its purpose. You could buy fancier ones, but they all include a bunch of half-usable stuff other, more specialized tools do better... like a keychain tape measure.This is well-machined, has the same side-lengths as the fifty-dollar ones. For all the "other" functions I grab a different tool. This was great value.

Why pay outrageous amounts for a Fret Level tool? This thing works as well as the $20+ versions of this tool that you can find. A fret rocker tool is simply 4 straight edges of various lengths. All of the edges on this thing are straight and the right length. A no frills, no no sense, sensibly priced tool. Get one.

Not lazer cut steel
Should be cut from Steel not a cheap piece of aluminum. I expected that but maybe I was wrong to, seller did send me a 10.00 gift card to make it right but don't buy off buyers. Its tacky. Just lazer cut this part is all you need to do.

Works great, the fret rocker is dead flat on all for sides. Also the sticker with side measurements was placed perfectly. I was worried that it would arrive and have to be scraped off one of the edges but it wasnt and that small attention to detail is definitely note worthy.

Value priced item
Seems pretty good, fast shipping. I found a few high frets on a couple guitar already. Can't vouch for its absolute accuracy but it seems to do the job!

Professional luthiers maybe can justify spending $35 for a similar tool from Stewmac, but for players who are their own DIY guitar techs this tool perfectly fills the bill. And I like the idea of supporting a family business.
