Our cat loves this toy!
This toy was a game changer for our newly adopted 6 year old male cat. We really struggled to get him engaged and I was tired of buying cat toys only to have him ignore them all. He went for this immediately. I think the wand broke fairly quickly but was fixed with duct tape and has been going strong every since. Considering the abuse it gets, for the price, we're very pleased. We've had it a couple of months now and its getting daily use. I would repurchase this.

This is the perfect toy, kitten LOVES it
I love the quality of the toys themselves, and they have little clips on them so you can trade them out. The birds and the orange sock/carrot(?) are his favorites, and although he has mostly destroyed them, they still have plenty of life in them! He bounces around and leaps into the Audi wI recommend a metal or vinyl surface for the suction cup, which is both sticky and has a suction clip as well. It’s super sturdy, but early on after a first wash (from attempts on other surfaces) I had trouble getting good suction. I used rubbing alcohol on a metal base of a sturdy floor lamp and it hasn’t come unstuck for a week at this point.I’m super happy with it and just hope I can purchase some toy replacements because my young kitty has gone ham on these things!

Suction not sticky sucks, lasts 30 seconds then detaches
Heard that cats go crazy for this toy so bought it excitedly for my 3 boys and was very hopeful. It was easy to put together once I saw the instructions on the listing online, peeled it and stuck it on my hardwood floors lasted about 30 secs of not very aggressive play before it popped off. I would then stick it right back and it would last another 30 secs my cats love it so I would just keep restocking it but it’s annoying that it just won’t stay suctioned to floor considering it claims to be super solid suction. I mean it’s cheap so can’t really complain but still I’m not sure if this is really worth the money when you could probably find one for the same price that’s sticks better.

Almost the best thing I've ever bought
The concept is phenomenal. But my 4month old kitten broke it within 30 minutes and by broke it...I mean there's a "metal" piece that screws into the base and he somehow snapped it. It's okay because I got an extra mental twisty thing so after some thinking power I was able to get the little nub the unscrew and replace it. But he hasn't stopped playing with it since I opened it (about 90 minutes now). It comes with extra clip feather parts and and they clip onto my cat tree nicely so that was a bonus. BUT IF YOU ARE UNAWARE THIS IS NOT JUST A SUCTION CUP it is "sticky" but I don't think it's the leave a residue kinda sticky but just be warned. It stays where ever I put it so it's nice but if you don't want something to get ruined (or peel paint) I probably would consider something else.

Don't waste your money
When we first received this, I wanted to put it on a door to our den. The door is pretty smooth and I thought it would stick fine. I cleaned the door really well before attaching the suction cup. I made sure to push hard on the suction cup before flipping the lever that is supposed to really make it stick. My cat got hold of the bird toy and started pulling down and the suction cup popped right off. I tried to den door several times with the same result.Next, I decided to attach it to our stainless steel freezer. After several attempts, I was able to get it to stick really well. Our cats started playing with it and after about five minutes, I heard a "clunk" on the kitchen floor. I looked and found the threaded end of the wire that screws into the suction cup had come out. I tried to put it back in and discovered that the threads on the female side had stripped and would no longer hold the wire in. I tried several times to screw the wire in, but the cats would just pull it loose. The cat that kept pulling it loose most often is a very petite 8lb cat. She is by no means a big heavy brute that is using her weight to rip it loose. Since it's the female end that is stripped, I can't even try using the other wire. One thing that i noticed is that the threaded male ends on the wires are very short. There is actually only 1/4 inch of threads on the male ends but there is room for at least twice that in the female end. I don't know why they made the male end so short but it can't hold with only a few threads inserted. The cats still wanted to play with the bird on the wire, even though it was just laying on the floor. Later in the day, I noticed that the bird was missing from the wire. I looked at the remainder of what was left and saw that there was still a bit of "fur" left on the clip that connects the toy to the wire. There was just a dab of glue on the remainder of the fur. I checked the rest of the toys and they also are attached with just a little bit of glue. There's no way the toys will stay attached with that little dab of glue. They should be sewn on.Ultimately, don't waste your money or time on this toy. It isn't worth it. I'm going to request a refund for mine.

KITTY'S FAVE TOY. suction didn't work well, I stick in a crevice in an armchair
this is my kitty's favorite toy. here's our history with it and how we make it happen, despite it not functioning as advertised. I couldn't get the suction to work, so then I taped it to the floor with packing tape. that didn't last long. I started sticking it into couch or armchair crevices, and it has the same effect; when she bats it, it bounces around. doing this has had a wonderful silver lining. after she does all the work of batting, she eventually gets it free, so she completes the hunt-catch-kill process like a cat in the wild. if the suction had worked, she would never have gotten this satisfaction of the catch-kill part, so I am so happy she gets to have this experience. her final step is that she puts the bird in her mouth, dragging the long wire through the house, to give me this gift, just as if she were an outdoor cat bringing me a real mouse or bird. it is the cutest! so I am glad the suction never worked. she likes the birds more than the other attachments, I think because it is more pleasurable to sink her teeth into that mass than the light feathers. very happy with this toy!
