Good alternative for the price
Height is enough to keep light over a 27 inch monitor and it will hold an Elgato Key light okay if you don’t need to move a lot. It’s a lighter and more compact for factor compared to the Elgato and Neewer, which is good if space is a problem, but not great if your goal is quality.

Sturdy camera mount
A very versatile product that can be used in many situations. It does not take much space when folded and can be easily transported or stored in a standard-size camera backpack. The mounting system is simple and works very well, providing a strong grip for the stand. The stand can bear a load of up to 3kg. I've tested it, mounting a camera, an LED video light, and a tablet, as a reference screen. It holds the payload well, providing a firm hold. The position, angle, and height can be easily adjusted. There is also an option to attach an optional( not included ) sidearm from the same brand - LS02A, for additional accessories. The ball head works smoothly and can be operated easily.Another great product from the trusted ULANZI brand.

Slightly limited by the flat clamp, but very sturdy and well made
I liked the idea of having a long extension mount for my camera, something a bit more substantial than a selfie stick, and that could be clamp mounted. This is very strong, quite weighty and extends to a good length. It has a standard screw top so is suitable for a variety of mounts, including the one for my GoPro. The screw top is rubberised too so it gives a firm grip onto whatever is attached. The clamp is also really sturdy with rubber protectors, and is find for attaching to shelves, desks, tables, or anything else that is flat.If you need to clamp a light or camera for indoor filming then this is ideal, but for anything outdoor then rather less so. I'd have liked to have seen a more versatile clamping option, perhaps a curved clamp for a bicycle or attaching to a metal bar, in addition to the one provided. The base screw thread that attaches to the clamp isn't a standard fitting so it can't be easily swapped for something else. For anyone wanting to clamp to any flat fixed surface though, this is very good and reasonably priced.

Excellent stand for a range of uses.
I've used this for mounting both a camera and, separately, lights to the corner of my desk. The mount can be doubled in length by twisting the grip, and the ball head allows for complete rotation, and can then be locked into place to keep the camera secure. It's unobtrusive when not being used, taking up minimal space on the desktop, and its easy to swap between cameras, phone mounts and lights. The lightweight aluminium construction means it's convenient to carry with you if necessary, but mine has been left in place since I bought it.It's sturdily constructed and should last many years of use. A quality, professional mount.

On paper it's a great ideabut the implementation leaves a bit to be desired.
First problem was that the flat pad on the circular fixing clamp was stuck to the clamp and so when the clamp was unscrewed it left the circular part stuck to the top of the clamp and the shaft of the metal screw exposed. It took a screwdriver and a lot of force to disconnect the two (strangely enough it does not stick to the table at all so it was just the two rubber parts that had fused together). The extendable tubes can be disconnected but on ttry to reassemble it became impossible to slip one tube back inside the other as an internal part was stuck in the shaft. The ball head is permanently attached, which is disappointing as I would liked to either remove it entireley or replace it with a head with built-in spirit level. It is great to have the ball head on it but unfortunately it seems to have two settings - either locked or loose - which is rather a shame as it makes it hard to easily adjust a heavy unit, e.g. a 35mm camera mounted on a teleprompter. As a microphone or light mount I thoroughly recommend this unit. For something heavier which needs a more precise setting it may not be the best. Price is nothing special - an average price.

Stable, strong and fit for task.
Very nicely made, multi-purpose desk mount. It's nicely finished in matt black, and this appears durable and quite grippy. The desk clamp opens up to a good 50mm and is built from a good thick gauge steel. The tubes are a good diameter - not so large as to make it cumbersome but definitely not flimsy, and the twist clamps are quite broad, offer a good grip and clamp firmly. The ball joint is similar in finish and quick to clamp/unclamp - just a half-turn of the screw is all that's required. It's clear in the description that this is designed to hold a camera or lighting via the standard 1/4" screwmount (mine is currently hosting a large led flat panel), but if you're handy you could easily knock up an adaptor and have this holding a dremel (or similar), with a flex shaft - this would certainly hold up better than some of the rubbish that's sold specifically for that task, and this is cheaper! Can't speak for the durability of it as I've not had it long, but there are few moving parts so little to go wrong, and the finish appears to be pretty tough (plus it's made from metal which, as a rule, is pretty durable). As long as you're using it for it's intended purpose and not for defending yourself from attack by minotaur (though if you were, the screw adapter could feasibly take any number of cleverly-designed, minotaur-expelling, devices), I can't see it falling apart any time soon. The price (at least currently), is very budget-friendly - but that is not reflected in the quality. It's robustly made, nicely finished, and fit for its intended purpose.
