Seems high quality
We're new to unresponsive yoyos and we haven't mastered it yet. Watched many videos without success yet. We aren't sure if the rubber is set at the right depth or not. It seems a bit too recessed, but we really don't know. Hopefully others will figure it out and explain in detail how to make this model work well.

UNRESPONSIVE yoyo
I'm decent with responsive yoyo's. I can walk the dog, around the world, and sometimes rock the cradle. This is an unresponsive yoyo. I suspect the low reviews are because they didn't read the directions. There is a specific technique to getting this to wind. I tried a dozen times to follow the directions, but never got the yoyo to wind up.The product is high quality and I appreciate the various parts contained, but know it is an intermediate or professional trick yoyo unlike the toy store products you're probably accustomed to.

Not Worth The Price
I got this for my husband and he was super excited to have a yoyo since its been forever since he had one. However when we opened the box we were not expecting to see one we had to put together on our own let alone that came with a bunch of tools and bolts we couldn't even figure out how to use. We read the instructions which are really badly put together and really don't answer alot of questions. In the end this ended up being more of a paper weight than a yoyo. i would say save your money cause this isn't worth it and get a real yoyo that you don't have to put together on your own.

High end "unresponsive" Yo Yo, well made, plenty of spare strings / parts included.
Wow how time has changed! I remember being a kid, saving up and sending money to "Duncan Yo Yo" company for strings! I would wait like 3-4 weeks and a pack of strings would show up for me to continue Yo Yo-ing (Is that even a word!?). It seems there are countless iterations on the Yo Yo these days and some are smooth and some are for very technical to allow for tricks like this one. The included video on this product page shows an individual that does a myriad of tricks in matter of seconds, which is mind blowing for a person of my age.Anyways, this Yo Yo is really well made. Comes with plenty of strings, set of additional bearings, with bearing remover, two set screws, and an Allen wrench. Yo Yo itself is machined to a smooth finish, and comes in a nice giftable box (not wooden). Yo Yo feels solid in the hand and is a blast to do tricks with. I highly suggest a very open space, preferably outdoors not facing any windows. I've had string breaks in the past as a kid and almost took out the living room window!"unresponsive" mean it will not wind up on it's own like a normal Yo Yo. Instead you must let the Yo Yo catch some air and catch it's own string and then it will wind up. Or like the product image shows, bring the string down and let the spinning Yo Yo touch the string and let it climb up on it, which will allow it to wind up then. This may sound confusing, but trust me it works. I highly suggest going to the most popular online video website and searching for how to wind up an "unresponsive" Yo Yo, and you'll be quickly doing it in no time. This is a high end Yo Yo that I would easily gift to a Yo Yo enthusiast, but not a first timer.Take a look at Yo Yo counterweights as well. It will add a whole new level of Yo Yo-ing, that brings freedom from being tethered to the string. With this Yo Yo it would be a killer combo. Now I must go master just this "unresponsive" Yo Yo, before I move onto counterweights.
