This is the sweetest book and I used ot to help my child feel better about going to school. Great pictures and story.

This was one of the books I read my oldest daughter when she was little. Then when she was old enough to read she would read it to her little sister. Now she is having her own and wanted her to have it for her little.

I bought this book while pregnant. I enjoy reading it to baby girl while she's still in the womb. Books have always been an important part of my life and I hope that by reading to her on a regular basis (starting very earlyyyyyy), maybe she will love books as much as I do. Even if she doesn't, that's fine.Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the message of the book and the illustrations. I currently work full-time and will be going back to work full-time 12 weeks after she's born (Feb 2016). I couldn't make it through the first few pages without tearing up. I can't imagine how hard it's going to be leaving her each day to go back to work. And when she's older and understands the words I will be reading, I hope that this book helps her understand that mommy loves her and misses her when she's at work. On top of the storyline, I really like the illustrations -- they are simple and the colors aren't too bright and bold; this book has a very classic feel to it. I'm not a big fan of books with so much going on (illustration-wise) that it takes away from the story.I really recommend this book as a gift for any mom, most especially for those who work outside the home.

I bought this book (hardback) in 1999 for my first born at a book fair... one of the most heartfelt, sweetest, loving books ever. We read it every night for 3 years straight. Now I am having a grandson any day now, and I can't wait to read it to him too... (I got two! So mommy can read it to him tooooo)

I like this book, thought it was okay but my 2 year old granddaughter loves it and that is what is important

I'm not sure who loves this book more, me or my kids (ages 3 & 5). The book reinforces that a parent's love for their children never waivers, even when they are separated from one another. The story walks through a preschooler's day (playtime, nap time, etc.) and illustrates that a mommy's love is always there. The love is visually "shown" on each page as a small heart, which my kids love to find and point out each time we read this book. There are also a few pages that show the mom at work, with the child's love symbolized as a heart, too. The art work is beautiful--all animals dressed as humans--with gorgeous colors and attention to detail. We preciously checked out this title from our library on a regular basis until I finally ordered a copy of our own so my kids will have it when they grow up and have families of their own.

This was my (now 20) daughters favorite book growing up. I was so happy to see it and pass the love to a dear friends baby!

Oh My Baby, Little One is a favorite book to give to moms returning to work and leaving their children in the care of others while at work. The message portrayed and love shown between mother and offspring is very sweet, soothing, and healing. I highly recommend it for its loving and helpful message, its word choice, and attractive illustrations.

This is a delightful picture book which both myself and my daughter love. I bought it to help prepare her for my return to work and we read it every night.The text reads aloud very well and is full of warmth and reassurance. Combined with the delightful illustrations it makes a lovely book. There are many details in each picture that I can talk to my little one about and keeps her engaged. Highly recommended.

My 2 year old daughter and I love this book, after we read it we talk about how my love is with her in nursery and how I put her love in my pocket when I'm at work, I also bought it for a friend at work who loved it too ( mums have separation anxiety too) I would highly recommend this book

Nice rhyming story. Great for my 4 year old who has separation issues after my dad died recently
