Best light you will ever buy.
Yes, it's expensive. But it's also the best light you'll ever buy. The light energy can start a fire when shined on black paper, even though it doesn't get very hot on the highest setting. Charging is super convenient having never to take the battery out, and the an led on the charging end let's you know when charged. A coin shape on the end of the charge cord sticks to the flashlight magnetically, and that's how you charge it. Super small and light, but can be very bright when needed. Everybody exclaims when they see how bright. Yet you can easily use one of the other 3 lower settings for just the amount of hiking light. When you want to use it as a headlamp, it magnetically snaps into place. Simply the best light I have owned and I own a lot.

Impressive light!
After considering the armytek wizard pro v3 for some time I saw that olight introduced this light the h2r nova. Impressive light! Lots of flood, and enough lumens to light up a big room. It has some blue aluminum accents that give it a cool look and the machine texturing adds to this. I think the ultra low moonlight mode is a nice touch. The button Is a mechanical button under a thick rubber shield. It's nice and stiff with 1-2 pounds of force required to click it. The clip is nice and is a tip up/down with what appears to be two laynyard holes On the lens side of the clip. There are magnets in the charger, the tail of the light and the headband. At about four inches long this is the smallest light I own over a thousand lumens. If I could change anything about this light I would cut a laynyard hole into the tail cap to support having a laynyard in lens down carry and I would make the clip so that it could rotate all the way around the light without stopping. I would also make the light fixture in the headband to have a cuttout for the clip in it so that you don't have to remove the clip to make it a headlamp.

Great light output, questionable relaibility
Pros:- Light output is bar none, it'll light up a whole room without issue- Charging is a piece of cake with the magnetic tail cap charger, just dont try to use the base charger's usb port of another olight charger that you may have because it wont work well.- Battery life is great too, compared to those headlights that use 3 AAA batteriesCons:- The head strap is annoying. I dont like the over the top band, i feel as if it would have been fine with one single strap going around your head- The light head itself doesnt independently swivel, this would be a great benefit when working on cars. It IS easy to swivel the whole lamp unit while secured in the head band- My light will randomly turn off and on by itself, or sometimes just turn off until I turn it back on. This happens even with the battery fully charged, its quite frustrating.

A very nice headlamp. The beam pattern is ideal
A very nice headlamp. The beam pattern is ideal. Floody with a bit of distance and no hot spot. The neutral tint is nice but is slightly, ever so on the cool side. The modes are nice with turbo not disappointing. In general use the medium setting works well for lighting your path at night. The included charging system and battery make this a very good value. Just know that the included battery is proprietary. The light will take normal 18650's but won't charge them. Additionally a normal 18650 will run the light in all modes but turbo. You'll need a high drain battery for that. The pocket clip is a nice feature, you can clip it to a belt for nice hands free illumination. My only complaints are the headband and button. I'm not a fan of the top strap, and it seems that it's not removable. There's nothing wrong with it, I just prefer a simple headband. I wish the button were recessed like on the Zebralights. When I go to adjust the lights angle it turns off by me barely bumping it. Beyond those two minor irritations, I highly recommend this light. If you're trying to decide between this and a Zebralight just know, the Zebralight is darn near the perfect headlamp, but the Olight is a close second and a better value for the included additions (battery, charger, magnetic tail cap, and clip).

Love everything about the light, but it constantly turns off just by brushing against button.
I had issues with my light turning off from just brushing the on/off button and turning itself off randomly as well.I purchased the Olight H2R nova 2300 in Neutral White, and as soon as I took it out of the package I noticed that it would turn itself off after a couple of seconds of being on. I chalked this up to being low battery since it does not come fully charged. I did a full charge with the included USB, light turned to green after a few hours showing full charge. Again, if I turned it on and just barely brush up against the button it will turn itself off. Sometimes it turns off on its own. I inspected inside and out to see if there was anything making a possible connection somewhere. I tried it with two other fully charged 3400 18650 batteries. Still truly confounded, I could just brush my finger across the top and it would cut off. Had girlfriend try, and same thing occurred.I reached out to Olight through email about my issues and didn't hear back (24 hours). I also tried to research if anyone else had this issue, but couldn't find any posts other than a review on here that says their's turns off randomly as well. The light functions perfectly normal other than that. It is way too frustrating to use because if you try to turn the headlamp, or even press the button to change lighting levels, it will just turn off. I am hoping this is just a malfunctioning unit. This light is truly amazing. Extremely bright, neutral white is actually a bit whiter than Nitecore HC30. Beautiful floody beam spread. I truly hate having to send it back, I will be buying another to give it another try.-Love the light, but constantly turning off just by brushing the button or adjusting headlamp up or down has forced me to return. Also, if anyone has advice or has had similar issues, please let me know. I am hoping the next one gets the 5 stars this light deserves.

Light was very bright
This light was the brightest light when I was camping with friends. Charging is easy but it did take overnight in a normal outlet.
