Q: what size hitch pin does this use? Will the 5/8 fit?

if you have a 1 in.receiver it takes a 1/2 hitch pin ,if u have a 2in receiver it takes a 5/8 hitch pin.

Q: Is this for a 2012 srx cadi?

Yes, I installed it on my 2012 Cadillac SRX.

Q: Is a torque wrench required for installation? I don't plan to pull a trailer, just to use for 2" receiver bicycle rack.

I didn't use one. I installed mine almost two years ago, and - coincidentally - I've been using my hitch for the same purpose (a 4-bicycle, 2-inch receiver bike rack). The installation was very straightforward, no issues or 'hiccups'. :)

Q: Will this work for a 2006 cadi srx?

It works on my 2016 srx. Simple hardware match with existing bolt and electric connection. However, a cut out of the plastic skirt for the hitch pin requires some skill to make it pretty. Not sure of the 2006 frame!
