Bar Soap, Patchouli, 4.5 Ounce

The scent was not long lasting. A good hand soap.

I ordered a single bar of River Soap, Patchouli and upon opening the package I immediately ordered 2 more bars. This is not a bar of unblended patchouli, there's an exquisite combination of scents working with the patchouli. I may be wrong, but I want to say citrus (bergamot?), musk? sandalwood? ...and maybe black pepper or coffee? whatever the blend is, it's incredible. Unfortunately, the scent doesn't cling to my skin for more than 2 hours but it does linger in the bathroom for days on end. I haven't experienced any allergic reactions, my skin doesn't feel greasy or dried out, just clean with a spicy, exotic scent. River Soap should consider making incense with this scent.I will continue buying this soap as long as the company keeps making it.

This is my all time favorite soap. The fragrance is amazing and has crushed lavender in it as well which serves as an exfoliant too.

Even though the scent is too light for me, I actually love this soap. It has some kind of moisturizer that leaves my skin really soft. So for that reason I’d probably buy again. But I do wish the patchouli fragrance were stronger.

I have been purchasing patchouli scent for years. This does not smell at all like patchouli...almost like cheap perfume. If they changed the scent, please change it back.

This soap is great. After my first order though, they stopped shipping to my location. Super annoyed by that because they obviously can ship it here, they have now chosen not to. Puerto Rico is part of the United States and we have United States post offices here just like everywhere else. It costs the same amount to ship a flat rate usps box to Puerto Rico as anywhere else in the states. If you have to charge a little more for shipping that’s fine, but don’t stop shipping here please.

I bought the Patchouli soap based on other reviews and they were spot on! Not only does this soap come in a beautiful wrapper, but it scents the whole room even before you unwrap it. It lathers beautifully, makes your skin silky and leaves a delightful fragrance behind. As an artist, I delighted in an exceptionally designed wrapper too!
