My son is on the spectrum and has a hard time putting enough pressure in order to see what he is writing with when utilizing a pencil. We added these weights to see if it would make a difference and it does help. He still writes really light with a pencil but we can see a difference that it is indeed darker when he has the weights on the pencil. We do need to use it more to see how long he can tolerate writing with the weights.

Has been helpful to address graded force of action (increasing pressure to make marks more visible), in reducing hand tremor when writing, and even to serve as a quiet fidget at student’s desk

This is a great product for pencils. Unfortunately they are much too small for pens. But a decent sized pack which meant able to share with a couple of classmates

Our only problem was that the school said the small pieces were a swallow hazard for kids. I just glued the weights I needed and everything else was fine.

These have helped some of my kindergartners.

I love they came with different sizes. I can change the weight and location of the pencil or pen. Help with issues.

ATTENTION MANUFACTURERS:—-Unfortunately, the diameter of the pencils and pens I use exceed the inside diameter of the weights. So I can’t use them!!! THE HOLES ARE TOO SMALL. These weights are going to be sent back.FURTHER The manufacturer,have to work on making the diameter of these weights bigger to accommodate the larger pencils that children use to learn how to write with. And art type pencils – – – for example, charcoal pencils. A lot of pens aren’t the diameter needed . The weights will not go around the pens and pencils that a lot of people use. Maybe “standard” pens and pencils are really not standard? What I mean by that is: standard is not typicalManufacturers should have a selection of the different diameters of the pencil weights. I am discouraged since I need wider pencil weights so I can draw, or narrower for holding a paintbrush.My idea is that the inside diameter of the primaryweight could be very wide, and make weights that would snap together inside the widest one.Is appears that all the manufactures are all using exactly the same diameter and therefore are eliminating purchases by people who need more accommodation. I am an artist, and I had a stroke and have problems writing. So I would like to be able to draw again, and it has been suggested to me that extra weight would enable me to draw better, since I normally have shaking when I try to hold a pencil.Please think of the disabled.Thanks,
