Can you turn the screen off but still hear sound? And can you adjust the volume?

Yes you can turn the video off and still use the sound. Then just hit a button to turn the video back if you need to. Great feature to help keep the room dark while sleeping. You can also control the volume and pan the camera from the video unit.

Had this monitor for a year now and all of a sudden every night it goes off like crazy with out of range beeping! So annoyed! It use to only go off every once and awhile which was more easy to deal with but It’s been waking me up consistently every night for the last three nights. I’m a light sleeper as is but the beeping would wake anyone I feel. My daughters crib is only 30 feet or so from our room! So I was shocked when I saw that it had a so called 900 ft range! Now seeing everyone else complaining about the same thing. , I’m gonna start looking for a new monitor.

How do i change the temperature setting from celsius to fahrenheit? the manual says to use the menu button but there's no option for temperature there

Is there a way to disable the beeping sound the monitor makes when the screen turns off?

I purchased mine October 2014 and it also still has alarm with no way to turn off the alarm that sounds when signal is weak, which happens quite often if we are streaming a movie after the children are asleep. Pretty annoying.
