Purchased for son who loves Axolotls and its been a major hit.Really nice image, such a fun light. Love the colour options, convenience of the remote control and sturdiness.

This 3D illusion lamp arrives well packaged in a presentable gift box. The box contains the lamp base, a 3D image, A USB lead, a remote and a small instruction leaflet.The lighting effects are powered through the USB or you can install 3 X AA batteries (not included) into the base,The plastic 3D image has a paper backing, which is quite challenging to remove, but once you start to peel it away it will mostly come off in one piece. The pointed areas on the tips of the fins/ears on the sides of the characters head were the most difficult areas from which to remove the backing paper.The light can be operated using the remote or you can tap the icons on the top front of the base.The light effects are okay, but the image doesn’t light up as well as other 3D illusion lamps that I have reviewed. Some of the colours make it difficult to see the character, which is a shame.The light effects appear to work fine whichever way round you have the image. You can select from a choice of stagnant colours or there are some flashing modes, which go through all of the different colours. There is also a timer, which is handy if you are using this lamp as a night light in a child’s room.My grandson likes to collect these 3D illusion lamps and he has quite a few now, but this one has a slightly different base than his other ones because there is an unusual, curved edge around it, which produces a nice clear white light.My grandson is really pleased with this new addition to his collection, but I don’t think the 3D illusion is the best I have seen.The cost of these 3D illusion lamps seems to vary quite a bit and I think that the current price of this one (£16.99) seems quite expensive to me.

The media could not be loaded.  My daughter loves Axolotls, so I jumped at the chance to review this LED 3D night light.We have a few of these types of lights, but I have to say that this is a really good one. The image is really cute and is created well on the clear perspex, to give a 3D effect.What I particularly like is that the base seems to be the latest version. These have gone through different stages over the years and this newer type is amazing. It can run from 3 X AA batteries or a usb-c cable (included). This is a significant improvement over the older micro usb ones.The base also has a separate white night light that illuminates with a separate button. I stead of a single button like the older bases, there are now 3; white night light, main light (also controls the colour if you lose the remote) and a timer function.This really is the next generation of this style of night light and I can whole heartedly recommend it. These lights are fun, whether your a child or adult.The main light has numerous preset colours on the controller, so you can pick a light to suit your mood. It also seems brighter than the older ones.

Absolutely gorgeous light, that can be used with batteries or plugged in. It's a good night light but definitely not for reading. The lamp looks lovely in my children's room and they absolutely love it! The lamp is not too big and not too small. Has a variety of colours and a setting. They are really enjoying changing the colours to a different one each night. Packaging is lovely and the lamp was very simple to put together.Overall extremely happy with this product.

My 7yr old niece loves this light. She’s rather obsessed about the Axolotl, she thinks they’re the cutest things so when I saw this light I had to request it for her.There’s a remote control to change the colours and the pattern, from static to flashing. You b can also set it to turn off after a set time.Super cute light.
