Slip Fit Tub Spout with Pull-Up Diverter for 1/2 inch Copper Tube, Brushed Nickel

It effectively replaced our 11-years-old tub spout. The diverter was stuck and cleaning it didn't quite work so it was time for a replacement. Once thought of the known brand products, but just settled for this as it looked pretty much the same and the quality is about the same as well. The installation was a breeze and it's just sliding it in. So far it's working great!

This tub spout worked perfectly for me. Just be sure to do some basic measurements to make sure it's a proper fit for your needs.I do like it a lot. It replaced a very old tub spout which was badly discolored and corroded. The price was right. A good value.

My only complaint is that when you turn the tub faucet on water still dribbles out of the shower head, even though the shower valve has not been activated. Also, when you turn the water off, the shower valve does not automatically fall back down into the faucet position. You have to remember to push it down when you finished your shower or next time you turn on the water you will get drenched because It is still in the showerhead setting.

I specifically selected this spout because it said it worked on a pipe length up to 3.4 inches. There is a picture in the listing showing this and it is also in the text description. It did not fit my 3.2 inch pipe out of the wall. I ended up cutting my copper pipe so it would fit.It slid very tight over the pipe and required too much force in my opinion to install. Once installed the spout leaked around the wall, I think the interior rubber gasket was damaged when installed because it fit so tightly.The finish on the spout was nice and the diverter mechanism is well designed. The spout is nice looking, wished it worked for me. I would have returned it but I missed the deadline.

Slips in easily and locks in place. It is much better quality than the original Kohler that it replaced.

Don't care for how the water comes out of the spigot almost like a spray nozzle, created back pressure from restrictions in design so when I changed the position of the diverter from shower to bath the water kept coming out the shower head. Disassembled product to see if it was internal but couldn't rectify the issue.
