Yes, they have been fine in our dishwasher. No paint or decals, just nice glass mugs! We have been very happy with them.

Q: Can these be used for hot beverages and are they microwave safe? Also is the bottom totally flat?

Many reviewers have stated they use their steins for hot beverages. The steins are not marked as microwave safe. The bottom is not totally flat. There is a roughly 1/4" rim. Inside the rim the bottom is flat and recessed about 1/8".

Q: Does your mug have 'Mexico' marked on the handle? Thanks.

Not sure...I bought 3 at Amazon but had more from ? bought long time ago.Few of them have the Mexico marker on the handle while others don't...Sorry I can not be much more of a help.

NO! This item is only one mug and I have made Amazon aware of this deceit. I will say that when I only got the one mug they refunded me apologized and said I would not have to ship it back. The item is shown with a pair of mugs which without any great sense of observation or intelligence makes one believe that you’re getting two mugs. But now you’re only getting one mug.
