Unique ring sound. Love it. Wish I could find it to put it on my bicycle.
Ordered while traveling. It is the perfect bell for my electric street bike to ride around town and the beach when traveling. Ordered this bell and now in search of the perfect basket.

Thunk.......Ding!
The media could not be loaded. When I got the bell out of the box it didn't ring, it just was a dull "Thunk".I got a bit disgusted with the bell but since it was my 'added-item-to-get-free-shipping' I figured: "Oh, well..."I fiddled with it, nothing worked. Finally I screwed it onto my handlebars and what do you know?A beautiful ring! The tighter I screwed the screw the better the sound.I tried to include a 7 second video of the ringing bell, so you can listen to it.I wished I had that opportunity before buying a bell.Hope it works as I am not good at uploading videos.

Good looking bike bell. But not the best choice for me; Read my review for details.
I decided to upgrade my old bike bell to something much nicer looking. This brass model seemed like a good choice. But after a recent 25 mile ride I'm back to using my old bike bell. Here's the story:I bike on paved trails that are shared by other riders and walkers. A bike bell is essential because too many of them are distracted by their cell phones and/or headphones. A gently bell ding from a distance generally gets their attention so they remain safely on their side of the trail. My old bike bell (made by Huffy) allows my finger to remain rested on the trigger at all times. Plus prolonged dinging is possible by a pull-release-pull motion. Volume can be altered by how rapidly the trigger is pulled. The new PMLAND Brass Bell's operation is a bit different. Its finger strike must be pulled back and fully released (finger cannot rest on the trigger). So it's not as convenient to use. Volume can be altered slightly, but low volume strikes are difficult to achieve and often make a thud noise instead of a bell ding. The striker can be adjusted to improve low volume operation, but doing that adversely affects the louder bell dings.Summary:It's a nice looking bell that makes a distinctive "ding" noise. After using it I think it would be suitable for casual bike bell use. But I'm a heavy bell user and find its operation to be less convenient than my old Huffy branded bike bell.

Loud and Clear!
I love the frequency of the bell and it's substantial. I put it on my wife's beach cruiser and she looks the look of it. Build quality is pretty good!I did have to adjust the hammer part of it a bit so that when you released it it didn't stay stuck to the bell, if it does, it'll sound short and dull. A very slight tug on the hammer part, fixed it! I'd buy another for another bike if needed.

So nice, I bought a second one
I've been using this bell for over two years, riding my bike in all weather conditions. The bell is still going strong. It is definitely built to last.A few caveats though:- There's no padding between the handlebars and the bell. You'll want to pad it with something like a piece of an old innertube, or else it will scratch your handlebars.- The one nut that holds the bell in place frequently comes loose because of vibrations on the road. This can be fixed with some Loctite or other metal adhesive.Still, for half the price of similar bells, this one is definitely worth it.

Super classy!
Well made, very beautiful bell. Its loud, and the sound travels deep. The ring tone is long too! After striking it, I some times silence it with my finger because the sound continues for a few seconds. Will definitely buy again. Can be mounted on handlebars or on goose neck so that its out of the way.

Rusted Away
It is a beautiful bell and looks chic and classic but it is completely rusted in less than a year. If you do choose to purchase, I wish I had sprayed it with a clear varnish to give it some additional protection
