windshield removal tool kit
item as described as pictured ordered this to remove a windshield. which sucks dont do it yourself if you dont want the troubles. half time it will crack. and you'll probably have to break it out and roll it up like a rug without cutting yourself like i did. then have to clean all the rubber around that was there an any left over glass pieces. but tool worked for what needed to come out.

Worked on my 71 Camaro
The wire breaks easy but the cut tool with handle worked on the front and back window with out issues. The blade will bend a little but over all its a nice kit

Subpar product
Terrible product, does not work well. Cheap blade twisted on the first pull. The handle scraper is not any better. I will be sending this back.

Broken windshield removal set.
Window is out... wire broke seven times... lost both e-clips during wire changes. Not like old piano wire, a guitar string won't break! The double sided blade works well to pull trim before using wire to cut out. Did this solo wishing had a helper to saw. Just took several punctures and change up direction. Old glass cracked into fifty webs. Came out in a single piece thankfully. As for urethane removal from pinchwelds. Don't waste your time with this kit! Purchase a hot air gun say $15, You'll scratch your paint trying. Use a razor scrapper on used replacement then primer b4 install. New glass only needs primer 1st. For frame use a 1" long scrapper heat gun at angle stay ahead peals even large swatches . Use hot gloves to pull strip off. Touch up and primer. Hot urethane 150 to 180 caulk easy. Install windshield with trim attached. Wait 24 hrs. They say fast cure... a bump in the cold it will leak.

Does the job
Did what it said. Really just used the wire and the tool to push the wife through. By any means it no simple task. Patients is key. If you use the blade it may seem slow but what I did another time was heated the blade with a torch and then pulled through until it cooled off. Goes through the seal like butter when hot. Don't get pissed if the wire breaks. It will happen a few times. Just check what it snagged on and adjust your angle. Also important you might think going back and forth really quick is what's required. Like a saw but what you really want to do is hold one end tight. Not moving that hand and then pulling back with the other hand in a single pull. If it gets stuck and you can't pull restart by pulling the wire back then hold and repeat. This was how I quickly got it out. It does require some strength but once it starts moving it moves. Avoid pulling up. Don't let the corners allow you to rest the wire on the glass to hit the angle. You will break that corner quick doing so
