I was wondering just how light and thin are these sweatpants?

They are lighter and thinner than your average pair of cotton sweatpants. As the other answer noted, because of this, the stitching can tear easily so they are not the most durable thing you'll ever buy.

China. So be ware of shipping back.... they run very thin in the legs

I am 6"2 size 34 waists 200 lbs. should i get and xl or xxl?

I am 6'4'' 197 lbs and I bought the xl and found them really big in the waist and thigh area. I wear 34 x 36 pants. I returned the pants for the large size....haven't arrived yet. I want a smooth snug tailored fit not bed clothes.
