A lifesaver!!!!
I have been looking everywhere for something like this! I have horrible carpel tunnel and other issues with my hands and wrists and opening jars is a very difficult job. Especially when they have been opened before. Most often I have to wait for someone to be home and open jars for me. This is a tool that I can have mounted under my counter and be more self sufficient. I am so excited I found this! I will definitely be buying more of these for people who I know that have difficulties with their hands!

Opens lids but makes lid material stick out in sharp shards
I like how this opens the majority of lids I've tried but don't like how they tear up the lids leaving lid material (both metal and plastic) sticking out in curved shards which has poked me enough to draw blood the next time I go to open the lid.

Not functional
This item was a disappointment. Mounted it under my cabinets, and could not get it to open one jar...the teeth did not grip the jar lid, no matter how hard I pushed it into the V of the opener. I had other people attempt to use the opener, and they were no more successful than I. I have had other openers in this format, and they actually worked,

Nothing like one I had in a previous home
Piece of junk and I doubt it will last. Nothing like one I had in a previous home. Comes in torn up plastic sandwich bag, no screws included so plan on a trip to get the right size. Not sure I will even bother to put it up.

Don't waste your money!
This was a big dud for me. I've only ever gotten it to open one jar with this. I finally found one like I used to have, paid through the nose for it, but it is definitely worth it. This one made it to the trash!
