Ideal 31-605 Duct Seal, 5 Pound Block

I like having this to seal penetrations. Very easy to use, soft and pliable and does not dry out. Works great and keeps bugs out. I will always have this stuff in my tool box.

Helps seal around a/c pipes on the exterior walls of house. Lasts and is very easy to apply. Prevents insect/vermin intrusion and insulates.

This did what I needed. It is decent quality duct seal that seems to be lasting well.

It's a gooey duct seal block of material. A little pricey at $11 but works great to fill intrusion holes in walls around pipes. Tears from main block easily. Can be stored in a zip lock bag. All good.

This product is great! I have used it numerous times and in numerous applications. It is maleable, holds in place, and can be used for plugging holes, insulation around outside piping to keep mice out, etc. Love it!

Great product for outside ducting. I had a new HVAC system put in, and I had to get new refrigerant lines put in as well. Metal cover/ducting was put over the lines down the side of the house. I wanted to better seal the bottom of the ducting. This product is like a sticky and slightly tougher playdoh. You can shape it, and pull pieces apart to fit any space. I suspect that this 1 lb unit can easily cover up to 1/2 square foot of space. Some advice: 1. Remove the internal plastic cover -- it's tricky, as it rips easily. I ended up with pieces of it embedded. 2. Use a knife to cut pieces off -- you can rip them off, but it does leave a ragged "edge" that needs to be re-shapped. Overall, great product for the price!

The pipe seal is very pliable. Can easily be conform around pipes. I replaced the pipe seal around my outside hose bibs. It's an easy fix to seal openings. The 1lb package is plenty to seal around pipe openings, outside the house.
