This is a very nice computer and a great value! I got one with 32GB RAM and 1TB disk. I am a professional programmer and sometimes I need a Windows PC. In my setup, I configured my Mac (my main work computer) to use Microsoft Remote Desktop to a access this computer. It works really well.The only advice I'd give to people is to get into the BIOS and adjust the fan settings. Before I did that adjustment the fan would come on too often and whine. Setting the fan temperature threshold just a bit causes the fan to only come on when really needed, which is only occasionally.

Once you install Windows updates with all drivers the computer is very quiet. I never hear fans unless I'm doing something very demanding. While it's updating software/drivers you will hear a lot of fan noise. Hence, the other reviewer that complained of fan noise did not wait to update all drivers. It's an excellent computer for work use. I use a dual monitor (which will start working when you update drivers). I love the smaller size of the computer. I would definitely buy again.

I received the product in a previously open box with everything inside being loose. Never open the box and requested a refund. I sent it back, but I have not gotten a refund yet.

First no issues. No issue with licensing. Box comes with a vesa mount. Works great with a docking station. The docking station does not power the device so it still needs plugged in. A perfect solution for those windows apps that don't run great on Linux.

The problem is that you depends of the Microsoft programs to work correctly. I found very limited in the functionalities.

I've had this little PC for a month now, and it has performed flawlessly. I installed Ubuntu 20.04 on it and it hasn't had any issues running Linux.I'm mainly using it for OBS video capture (not realtime encoding - it's too slow for that) and my kids have done some light gaming on it. So far mostly Minecraft, Pikuniku, and Brutal Legend. All games have ran well with no issues. Of course beefy modern games that require a powerful graphics card will not run well on this machine.I've subtracted a single star because of the fan noise. It's always present, and though not terribly loud, is louder than a similarly powered laptop. And when you really tax the CPU, as I do when encoding video files with ffmpeg, the fan is LOUD.

I purchased this from the Amazon reseller Reatan mini pc, this unit went dead about week ago. Had it since June. I contacted the reseller, head nothing from them.So I decided to go to Intel, contacted them on and I am waiting on a delivery today of a brand new unit from Intel.Next time I will purchase directly from Intel.
