Fox makes more than hats and t shirts...
Man, this thing is beefy. 2 in diameter. Housing dwarfs the stock unit. Took a little work to get it in my 05 wrangler. The rod end bushing was a little too long and wouldn't seat in the axel bracket. I used a bench grinder to grind the metal bushing flush with rubber. Fits perfect now. Also seating the taper pin in the other end was less than entertaining. Really made that front end less "jittery" over bumps and generally the steering has a very smooth fealing to it. Just orderd the matching fox 2.0 performance shocks (985-24-084,985-24-085) to pair with it. I was on the fence about the shocks (fox vs bilstein) but after getting the steering stabilizer in, i see why Fox costs more. They look awesome and overbuilt. Quality materials, tunable and rebuildable. I honestly thought fox shocks where for mountain bikes and dudebro trucks. I was wrong. This is serious suspension
