These are Planter's Dry Roasted peanuts, and they taste just like the Planter's in the 16oz jar, and the huge 64oz can. The can is the best value. The price value of this 34.5oz size jar is good. If you eat peanuts regularly, then this is a good deal. If you don't eat peanuts regularly, and a long time may pass to get through 3 large jars, then get the smaller 16oz jars to ensure freshness for when you eat them.

My morning vitamins upset my stomach, I need something salty to tame them. I have an ounce of peanuts for breakfast most mornings. After Costco quit carrying these, I tried all the different peanuts available at Costco, Sam's, and my local supermarket. All were either not salty enough to do the job, not crisp enough for that enjoyable crunch, or both. I'm glad I've found them on Amazon for a reasonable price.

We got these with a coupon that made them approx $2 a container. Buck a pound for Planters dry roasted? Heck, yeah! GORP. baby! All day long! Add a teaspoon of chili powder to the container and mix well, add your raisons (both colors, of course!), add some M&Ms and you can hike the App Trail in a good afternoon! Seriously! I started in Ga at 6:30AM and ended up in Canada around dinner time. Wow!

This is perfect for me! These, I can eat during my diet, in respectful amounts. The only drawback with the size of these containers is I can do a "drive by" snacking! Oh well still yummy!

When I want a snack it's usually nuts. I also prepare many foods which use peanuts so this size ensures that I don't run out. Since I have a pantry I've always got a supply on hand of many items in case of emergency i.e. earthquakes here in CA.
