Product description CD Review 'Sigur Ros and M83 loom large over (Sea Of Voices) angel choirs and dewy strings and arpeggiated pinwheels... How much more epic does it get?(None more epic.)' --Spin'We're already seeing EDM 2.0 in the shape of Porter Robinson.' --Pete Tong'Porter Robinson is post-EDM s greatest hope...Sad Machine sounds like how it would feel like to discover the sun.' --Fader Review: Wonderful quality - By far some of the nicest looking and sounding vinyl I've gotten in a while. Probably should have been a gatefold, but that doesn't kill it for me. The pearlescent shine is so pretty in real life. Been waiting for a long time for this one since I hadn't gotten worlds yet and wanted hollowheart. Review: Worlds isn't EDM, it's a work of art. - Worlds means a lot to me. It's in my top 3 favorite albums of 2014 and also in my top 10 of all time. And there is a reason for that. Sure, it may be electronic/dance music, but it's...different. The whole message of Worlds is that dance/electronic music is becoming too formulaic and "DJ friendly", and that EDM is becoming ugly because of that. Porter Robinson speaks out about this directly in Worlds. Worlds, as a whole, has a melancholy yet positive, happy feel to it. At the same time, the songs are so beautiful; Porter uses orchestral instruments, harsh synths, and haunting/melancholy vocals to make flowing, beautiful, complex, and encompassing works of art. Some of these songs are so beautiful that I teared up a bit while listening to it. Some of these songs are so catchy that I would dance, but I usually listen to music on the bus so that wouldn't be a smart idea. But that does not make this album any less enjoyable. All in all, Worlds is one of my favorite album experiences of /all time/. Whenever I hear about Worlds or listen to it I get that nostalgic, "aww yeah" feel. In conclusion, Worlds shows that dance and electronic music doesn't have to be just "hardcore beats" or "sick bass drops"; it can be beautiful and a work of art, which this album is. If you are even considering buying this album, don't hesitate, just BUY IT. You will absolutely love it.

Great album. Great sound quality. Great artist. The staple wasn't stapled properly in the booklet, and that is my only complaint.

Great CD
The CD itself was a great listen. Really calming and good if you want to float away. The CD came in an actual plastic CD case. Many times, CD can come in that cardboard cover, which can look nice if done well, but if the case is bent, then it looks like crap. But this CD came in a plastic case. It was cracked on the back, but this isn't a problem since I have replacements. The rest of the materials also remained intact. I would buy again if I needed another CD.

A true masterpiece
This album is full of absolutely stunningly well produced songs, each one memorable for a different reason. This is a must have for any fan of Porter Robinson and a true masterpiece in my eyes. This song features one of Porter's most popular songs Sad Machine, a duet between Porter and the vocaloid Avanna that is sure to leave you speechless. I will say that my case arrived beaten pretty bad, but I just swapped it with an extra jewel case I had laying around, so I'm not docking any points for that. With Amazon's mp3 service, purchasing the disc will allow you to stream the entire album! So you don't even have to wait to listen to this masterpiece after you order it!

Loose label
Sound quality is amazing! Only issue is the lable was peeled off... quality control is meh, but sound was good!

An artist coming into his own
Worlds is Porter making a bold statement. He is not afraid to differentiate himself from the bass-dropping junkies. He wanted to make this album personal, and he did. You can really feel the emotion behind his voice in songs like Sad Machine. The mood of the album is a pleasant melancholy, which to me is also indicative of a transformation, which may be hinted at in Fellow Feeling and Goodbye To a World. The album, however, is not without crowd pleasers. Some songs channel his raw energy, such as Divinity and Lionhearted. Some songs have a bit of a grungy feel, such as Polygon Dust which features Lemaitre whom he later brought along with for his tour. More often than not, the songs are introspective and attempt to transport you to not only another place, but another emotional state such as Sea of Voices. I found him to be successful in this effort, I simply can't listen to songs on this album without being absorbed by all kinds of feelings and his emotion. If you enjoyed this album and have the means to, see his live show. This album will make more sense, and is only enhanced by the imagery and live effects that he specifically tailored to match the music of this album.

If you're a fan of Porter Robinson, and enjoy listening to records, definatly pick this one up. It almost seems/sounds/feels like these are specially mixed versions of the tracks for LP medium, as the parts all flow very well In their own space in the stereo image, as well as the mix. It could just be the fact that digital isn't as good as records, period. The shipping was quick, it came in a hassle free/frustration free cardboard package with a tear-strip to open. Inside the album was shrink-wrapped in plastic and in mint condition, so I was very pleased with that. No defects or tracking issues, the label was not fully cut for the center hole on disk 1, but that wasn't a difficult fix, and is to be expected on some new LPs. All in all, I'm quite happy with this album purchase, I've listened to it maybe 15 times already since I got it, and twice digital to compare, and I won't be listening to the digital anymore (unless I have no other choice) I might even rip these copies for my own FLAC collection because I swear they are altered. Maybe I'll do a side by side. Lots of love PR From a fan
