It's a sturdy piece of kit with a metal body. The output looks good too. I'm happy with it. So it turns out the HDMI implementation on the Nintendo Switch dock is not great...would be an understatement and it doesn't work well with lots of TVs out there. One of the solutions is to pass the HDMI output from the dock through a HDMI switch. I know...the Nintendo Switch only outputs 720p so this switch is overkill. But this now means I can I also pass through my PS4, PC etc to my TV (yes...i'm out of HDMI ports on my TV.) All of these other devices run at 4k 60fps which is why I wanted to try this box out. There's not a whole lot to say about the switch itself apart from the fact that it is a nice piece of kit. But the case is made out of metal and it has a bit of weight to it. I don't use the remote control in my set up at the moment so can't comment on that. It's also worth noting that the ports are place on both end of the box so you should consider if this effects your cable management situation. I've just checked the lot in to a drawer and pretend it doesn't exist. It comes with it's own power supply so it won't rely on power from the HDMI cable like some of the cheaper switches. So I think it's definitely worth considering if you're looking for a 4k HDMI switch. Review: Does what most other won't but say they do! - After looking around for a switch that will actually work with the xbox one x and sky q and run them BOTH in 4k, this product works very well. Sky q will run at 2160p 8 bit and the x box will run in 4k. Very easy install just plug and play. The only downfall if you can count it as one, is it won't run at 10 bit.
