We highly recommend this Sanskrit story book and also the Sanskrit grammar book (by the same author), for beginners as well as intermediate students, adults and young alike.The stories are delightful with colorful pictures to make them even more interesting. It is an excellent way to learn sentence grammar analysis (with English translations), to increase vocabulary as well as to practice reading aloud to improve pronunciation. Many of the stories are presented with and without "sandhi" break down for easier understanding.We look forward to reading it aloud to continue our studies as well as conveying the good moral principles in the stories, to our grandkids.

A fun way to learn any language is through stories.The author has done a splendid job in this respect. The stories are simple and easy to read and understand. They are big help in learning Sandhi rules. The illustrations are also very cute.
