Moist Heat Mask

My Eye doctor advised me to get this mask - extremely comfortable and fits all size faces. Was able to help with the issues I was having effectively and can use this mask both hot and cold - durable and lasts for multiple uses.

Simple to use. Just pop in microwave and make sure it is not too hot. The beads adjust to your face and eye shape. It does not produce moist heat for me nor does it stay warm for more than 10 minutes. Moving on to brand that runs off of a battery charge. Relaxing but short lived.

I have *extremely* dry eyes. Most of the time they feel either goopy or like I have something stuck in them. Systane Ultimate didn't work, Pataday didn't work, Azelastine didn't work, steroid eye drops didn't work. My optometrist suggested that I try warm compresses 5 times a day for 10 minutes, and that it should be warm/hot enough to be uncomfortable, but not actually enough to burn the skin. I'll just say right up front that I don't have time for that. I do however use this mask for 3-5 minutes at least once a day, sometimes twice, and it definitely helps. I heat it for 30 seconds, put it on my eyes LIGHTLY because it's super hot at first. I still use it but I kind of squeeze it height wise so the heat is only right where my lash line is until it cools enough for me to just let it go. Once I do that, I push in where my lash line is to make sure I get ample heat there because it does cool quite fast. Once I remove it, I push on my lash line with kind of a back and forth motion to try to express the glands. I can't really feel the glands release the oils when I do it, but afterward I can tell that my eyes have way better lubrication. Another bonus is that it creates moist heat. I don't know how these beads do it but you don't have to put it in water or do anything in particular to make it so it releases steam, but they do. My orbital eye area feels nice and moisturized when I take them off. Doesn't last, but it's nice for that moment. The only thing that could make this better is if I didn't have to put it in the microwave each time I want to use it. Sometimes I use it downstairs and that's more convenient because I am near the kitchen, but when I want to use it at night and I'm already upstairs it's kind of a hassle to have to go down to the kitchen to heat it. I know there are some masks that are self-heating like those hand warmer pouches, and that would be fantastic for this product. Verdict: I'll definitely keep purchasing these. The price is right, and they just plain work.

It is great. It gives my eyes relief from the dryness and irritation. I use it three times a day. The only thing I found is that they got a little stained from the natural oil of our face or eyes. I tried gently following directions but have not used any mild soap to clean it.

A simple but effective comfort tool that she truly appreciates.

Works well to break up oils in eye glands. Must follow directions-only 25 seconds of warming in the microwave AND wait one minute before applying to eyes. It is durable and easy to use, increasing the moisture levels in my eyes.

This is the third mask I have ordered. It works wonderfully to provide moisture to the eyes. It was recommended by my optometrist.

Ich bin bisher super zufrieden, die Maske tut meinen Augen sehr gut und ein weiterer super Vorteil ist, dass ich viel schneller und besser einschlafe, weil meine Augen dadurch schnell entspannen und ich auch mein Handy vorm schlafen nicht mehr nutze (da es nicht geht mit der Maske).

Rimedio "casalingo" per occhi "secchi" e affaticati, consigliato dal medico oculista si è rivelato molto efficace nel ridurre la sensazione di pizzicore e secchezza oculare. Non vale certo come terapia risolutiva, e utilizzatelo solo dietro suggerimento medico (se soffrite di glaucoma o altri disturbi della pressione oculare il calore anche moderato è controindicato), ma usato regolarmente allevia i fastidi. Non superate i tempi di applicazione suggeriti. Un consiglio, utilizzate delle compressine di garza o tessuto non tessuto tra le palpebre e la maschera per prolungarne la durata e mantenerla pulita, è lavabile ma deve asciugare almeno 24h quindi meglio lavarla il meno possibile.
