The media could not be loaded. I've tested a wide range of products for note-taking and recording conversations, especially during meetings, and this one truly stands out. It excels at its primary function: clear and accessible voice recording.Clarity: This device captures sounds from a distance without turning them into background noise, while the main conversation remains clear and easy to understand.Simplicity: It features a one-button record, one-button save, and one-button stop/start system. There are no unnecessary extras that can confuse users.Additional Features: You can listen to recordings directly from the device or through headphones. It's also easy to transfer recordings for further use, such as extracting text or summarizing content.I've tried products priced between $25 to $300. Some are very sophisticated, with built-in voice-to-text and AI noise canceling. However, they often fail to deliver clear and continuous recordings reliably. Easy to scroll through multiple recordings, each recording has its own number, the only thing I hated was it does not instantly begin recording when you push record....when you hit the record button, it takes about 10 seconds before it actually starts recording. Records good and is built heavy duty

I've tested a few of these small digital recorders. While none of them give you the playback sound quality that your smartphone might give you, having something like this that is so small and convenient to put in your shirt pocket is nice to have. I find that a smartphone only works for certain situations, whereas this works for most situations.This one in particular has a color screen. While that may not seem to be important, I find that the color screen makes it easier for me to see the screen. Another nice feature about this recorder is that it records to a micro SD card, whereas most other recorders record to internal memory. Since micro SD cards are very cheap, this allows me to save an infinite number of recordings by simply throwing the card into a drawer once it fills up and then insert a new one.Battery life was never an issue for me, as I have a habit of plugging my devices in to a charger when not being used. This ensures that my phones, smartwatch, recorder and other controllers are always at a full charge. With the built in speaker to playback recordings, this is a nice little recorder that does what it is intended to do, and with the micro SD slot, it provides unlimited storage for my recordings.

It's TINY. That's the first thing that struck me. I thought "what on earth did I order that came in such a small box?" Easily fit in my jeans pocket with plenty of room to spare. After I got over that, I picked it up and it felt good in the hand--hefty and durable. The instructions are easy to follow (if a bit quirky at times in the translation) and the operation of the device is simple. It has adjustments for recording sensitivity depending on the volume and distance from the sound source being recorded. The internal playback speaker is tinny (as you might expect) but the file exported to the computer sounds fine and is useable for transcription purposes. For the price, you're not likely to do much better.

I need this recorder to run all night while I sleep to capture my neighbor's annoying barking dog but it keeps shutting off after 40 minutes. The recordings have a lot of static even though it lies perfectly still on a window sill, so I don't know why that would happen. I also find the instructions difficult to follow. The device is heavy and well built/good quality, but it just doesn't do what I need it to do. The search continues!

This recorder worked really good before I ran it through the washer and dryer. It had great audio and ease of use. After a full wash cycle and being dried, it STILL works just as good as before.

DO NOT RELY ON THIS! I just tried to use it to record a conversation that I really needed to record and the device is useless. I was able to record 19 conversations on it before, the other day I left it on the charger overnight, and now the battery is 100% fried and it actually recorded none of that. I was dating a gal who's a little coo-coo for cocoa puffs and really wish I had that threat she just made recorded. The device powers on for a few seconds, then shuts off but the battery still shows 100% charge. You can keep the device on while it's plugged in so yea, the battery is fried and I got nowhere near filling this thing up. Huge disappointment, should've used my phone to record, I'd feel a lot safer at the moment.
